Liron was murdered by Hamas at the Nova massacre on October 7th. Last Wednesday, Bar danced at his brother Maor's wedding. Family members say he was happy, sang, hugged everyone, and was moved by the celebration. On Saturday, the family had gathered at their home. "At noon, he wanted to go to the pool," recalled Lihi. "We said we didn't have a membership, so he said, 'Okay.' When we couldn't find him, we started searching on foot. We thought about where he might be, and we said we'd go to Liron's grave. At first, I didn't see him. Then I saw him lying there. I shouted, 'Bar, get up!'" "Only then did I understand what had happened. At first, I was even afraid that they had killed him. I didn't understand what I was seeing." Bar's family said he and Liron were soulmates. "Liron would come to us all the time, especially on Tuesdays when Mom would make couscous. He was a person who was always helping others." Bar's mother shared: "Liron was everything to him. She was his best friend and his psychologist. It was important to him to tell her about everything he did. After she was murdered, he would come to the cemetery almost every day.
