Ummm, business owner here. This was 100% legal. The SEC wouldnt care what a third party valuation says. It’s whatever the company says it is and if another company (including your own) secures funding to pay that it’s fair game. Musk could have said it was a trillion dollar valuation and sold it for that and there’s nothing anyone could do about it. You guys want to hate so badly that you’re willing to not educate yourself before forming opinions so to people that know better you just look stupid.
