'06-10 Joel Zumaya Absolute Flamethrower🔥 Remember this guy ?

In this house, Joel Zumaya is a hero…END OF STORY

💯

Remember this game ? I bet Joel Zumaya does

Dude had arm problems because of playing guitar hero

wasn’t he the guy who got hurt playing guitar hero?

Remember him? Brother some of us have never forgot him. 🎸😢

Griffey once hit a ball off of this guy that hasn’t landed yet. Crazy.

I remember prior to the 2006 season being intrigued for baseball to start for the first time in a long time, because the Tigers finally had some decent players and two rookie flamethrowers in Verlander and Zumaya who I couldn’t stop hearing about.

Turn notis on for daily⚾️ bangers

Send him a DM and he’ll follow you on IG btw

I remember always reaching for him in MLB The Show franchise drafts. Was one of the first guys to throw 101 in a video game, at least in my experience

My dad used to call him “zoom-by-ya”

Ken Griffey Jr remembers that guy…

Remember when Griffey turned on 104 and took this guy deep

I remember when griffey jr turned around 105 for a homer

He was the OG of HEAT

Zoom was the definition of a choker.

I hate guitar hero

101, changeup. lol

Only thing that could stop him

I remember a trade rumor around ‘06-‘07 about John Smoltz going back to Detroit in exchange for Zumaya. Glad that didn’t happen.

Guitar Hero killed this guys career

Also a POS

Always put him on the rangers on the show back in the high school days.

Hell yeah

People remember Zoom-Zoom Zumaya for the gas ⛽️ but he also had a nasty hook!

He hurt his arm moving boxes out of his during an evacuation from a wildfire in Cali

Literal flames tattooed on his throwing arm too

back when 100mph meant something

Do Eric Gagne

@notgaetti these people are a plague

Yes I remember him. Dominated the Yankees in the playoffs too. Never feared someone coming out of the bullpen for another team before this guy.

Ken Griffey Jr remembers that guy…
