We just recorded a new The Edge Podcast with DeFi options protocol rysk under our new DeFi Frontier sub-series so this is all fresh in my mind! I have no background trading options, other than buying some puts to hedge my long exposure. I've always wanted to upskill enough to sell puts or calls to earn yield while sitting long ETH, BTC, and other value-accruing tokens, but I have failed to carve out the time or confidence to do so. So I love this--rysk flips the psychology and spoon feeds someone like me who's happy buying at these prices and holding ETH or BTC long term. To earn yield in stablecoins with cash secured puts: 1⃣ Choose the asset (ETH) I'd like to buy next dip 2⃣ Choose the price at which I'd buy ETH 3⃣ Deposit USDC I'm willing to spend buying ETH if ETH goes below the strike price by said expiry date (May 1st) I didn't show it but you can also switch the expiry date. 🔗
