I have anxiety and that use to happen to me until I noticed and stopped doing that. Not to say u should hold it in, that was actually the problem. But definitely get this, just saying.

I teach Pilates and I have to remind people to keep their shoulders down when they do their exercises It is a habit and also they don’t know that they are recruiting the wrong muscles when they scrunch up their shoulders It makes sense though Thanks for sharing

Yes, so true, even you pull shoulders close to your ears purposely, you do automatically start feeling anxious.
