1964. I'm 18 and in basic training, then Advance Infantry Training: Firing M-14 rifle, .45 sidearm, 82mm mortar, M79 grenade launcher and 106mm recoilless rifle. Back from Vietnam at 20. Landed in Oakland CA. Got proofed. No beer at the airport bar. What'cha gonna do. 😂
