2/ Ondo’s Tokenized US Treasuries are now seamlessly transferable across Ethereum, @Arbitrum, and @0xMantle. If tokenized RWAs are to become a cornerstone for the future of DeFi, they need flexibility to move across the largest DeFi ecosystems. Today’s launch allows users to transfer $USDY, the most widely-adopted tokenized treasuries yieldcoin, across some of the largest EVM chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum and Mantle, with $OUSG support planned in the future.
3/ Institutional-grade security: Removing single points of failure. Ondo developed a best-in-class bridging product that combines the security of other bridging solutions by leveraging LayerZero’s decentralized verifier network (DVN) architecture. Our DVN stack uses trusted bridge providers—@PolyhedraZK and @Axelar—as DVNs, along with LayerZero Labs as isolated, mandatory verifiers for every transaction with Ondo’s LayerZero bridge, bringing the concept of application-owned security to reality. By using other bridges as DVNs, this architecture compounds security as each individual DVN is required for bridge validation.
4/ Ondo’s Decentralized Verifier Network Ondo will also integrate our own DVN as a required verifier, limiting trust assumptions to one. When you use Ondo’s LayerZero bridge, each transaction must be approved by four independent verifiers, including Ondo itself, so you only need to trust that any one verifier is uncorrupted—no additional trust assumptions are needed. We are incorporating our DVN with Ondo-specific validation into the required security stack, providing explicit instructions to validate that burns of bridged tokens actually happen, a feature not included in other general purpose DVNs.
5/ The first institutional-grade bridge integration is available now, with access via Ondo’s frontend and @StargateFinance, with initial support for Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Mantle, and more chains in the coming months. @LayerZero_Core Ondo can hide comments all they want, it doesn’t change the fact that they decided to use a VC bridge that doesn’t prioritize security. Sadly anyone who uses Ondo Finance would be the ones paying for this oversight.
