3/ We have completely reimagined the design of the app, streamlining user experience and bringing it closer to what one might come to expect from traditional fintech and enterprise SaaS solutions. Light mode, a new color palette, revised components and so much more.

4/ The new app is powered by v4 - an entirely new program that expands the current offering of Squads Protocol with new features such as: - Spending Limits; - Address Lookup Tables Support; - Time Locks - Fee Relayer.

5/ Today we are also announcing our subscription - Squads Pro, tailored for advanced users. Priced at $399 per Squad a month, Squads Pro unlocks access to advanced features, priority support and exclusive partner deals. The subscription was made possible by @sphere_labs.

7/ Squads Pro has been designed to address requests of power users looking for frictionless experience, granular control and privacy. All the features our users have come to love in the previous iteration of the app powered by v3 are available on the new platform, free of charge.

8/ Spending Limits are here. With Spending Limits, a multisig can allow certain members to withdraw funds from the treasury without the need to pass the multisig threshold.

9/ Enterprises looking for granular control and access management can now take advantage of Permissions. When adding keys to the multisig, users can now select a single role or any combination of the three roles available: Proposer, Voter and Executor.

10/ With Sub-accounts each multisig can now have multiple addresses. Startups can separate revenue streams into separate accounts for easier accounting purposes while venture firms can create multiple accounts for their vesting tokens without the need to deploy multiple Squads.

11/ Abstract away network fees with the Fee Relayer. Fee Relayer allows your multisig to cover network fees for its members when interacting with the Squad, making it completely gasless from their point of view. Fee Relayer is in part facilitated by @turnkeyhq infrastructure.

12/ Users can now activate Privacy mode to prevent their Squad details from being seen by non-members. If activated, the only way for someone to view the profile of a Squads multisig is to be a member and sign a message to verify their wallet.

13/ Along with the new Squads platform, we are introducing SquadsX - the first multisig web-extension wallet for Solana. Interact with Solana dApps, DeFi, and the ecosystem without compromising the security of your assets.

14/ As SquadsX represents a novel approach to interacting with Solana programs, we have collaborated with leading projects to ensure compatibility upon release. SquadsX is still in beta, bugs or compatibility issues may occur.

15/ SquadsX is your companion tool for expanding the use cases of your multisig. Access Solana with enterprise-level security to perform any kind of activities such as liquidity provisioning, lending/borrowing, on-chain futures and more.

16/ The new v4 program powering Squads has been audited by @osec_io and @Neodyme, with formal verifications by @CertoraInc and @osec_io currently in progress. The code is source-available and can be accessed here:

17/ Just as we did with v3, we are taking security very seriously, ensuring that Squads Protocol can serve as a core layer for teams wishing to leverage Solana’s account abstraction capabilities for their products. v4 will be made immutable in the coming months.
