After watching SB19's vlogs for Wakas at Simula, bigla ko lang naalala nung sinabi ni Ms. Sarah G na nililigawan niya raw ang SB19 for a collab concert, pero hindi pa makapag-commit yung lima. Knowing how intentional SB19 is with everything they do, especially pagdating sa mga plano nila at sa story na gusto nilang ikuwento bawat era, feeling ko kaya hindi pa sila makapag-yes noon kahit sobrang idol din nila si SG is because nakalatag na ang roadmap nila. Sobrang packed na rin ng schedule nila with the world tour, international events, fan meetings, concerts, brand commitments, at solo projects. At kilala rin natin ang SB19. Hindi sila nagpoproduce ng concert na puchu-pucho lang. Kapag may concert sila, pinagpaplanuhan talaga nang mabuti, from the concept and setlist to the visuals, stage design, at overall production. Talagang gusto nilang maibigay ang best possible experience sa audience. (See their vlogs for Simula at Wakas kickoff and Wakas at Simula finale concert for reference) Kaya kung magkakaroon man sila ng collab concert with Sarah G, alam kong hindi rin nila gugustuhing isingit lang sa pagitan ng napakarami nilang commitments. Gusto nilang mabigyan 'yon ng oras, focus, at preparation na deserve ng ganung kalaking project. Hopefully, after nitong napakalaking chapter ng era na 'to at matapos ang mga major international events, matuloy na ang #SG19 concert. The Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations responded to the video message of the Vice President Sara Duterte last night and I agree that this is nothing but a diversionary tactic. Issues and questions about the DepEd expenditures and a lot more. If there is one thing I want to highlight here, it is probably the part when Chairman Zaldy Co said that Vice President Sara Duterte assured them she can defend/justify the requested confidential funds. And so, let me thank the 19th Congress for disapproving the confidential funds requested by the OVP in 2024. “Pang-apat, paulit-ulit niyang sinasabi, "I will defer to the wisdom of Congress," pero hindi ito totoo. Kung talagang iginagalang niya ang Kongreso, sasagutin niya ang mga tanong, lalo na sa isyu ng confidential funds. Last year, kinausap namin si VP Sara tungkol sa 2024 budget, at sinabi niya na “ituloy n’yo yan” – meaning ang confidential funds – dahil kaya daw niya itong i-justify. Buti na lang at hindi namin itinuloy. Tama ang ginawa namin, at saludo ako sa aking mga kasama sa Kongreso. Ang kapangyarihan ng budget ay nasa Kongreso, at ipinagmamalaki ko na hindi namin isinuko ang kapangyarihang ito sa Office of the Vice President. Ang pinag-uusapan dito ay pondo ng taumbayan.
