The bigger gut punch for NU was KSU two weeks later - snow game in Manhattan. Lost a chance at a natty, Big 12 and Big 12 North titles in one fell swoop. Was a prelude to Colorado 2001 the next year.

I remember exactly where I was watching this game. It was my junior year and I had to take the ACT that morning at my high school. I rushed to my buddies house across the street just as Nebraska was driving down to make it 14-0. What a thrilling game, and we knew we were back

Some of the best games I've ever seen in my life were in that 2000 season with Nebraska and OU. Miss this so much.

I was at this game with my son. Never ever would I have thought i would see goal posts being torn down on Owen field. OU was too used to winning. However after 10 years wandering the desert looking for a good season it was deserved. The heavy smell of pepper spray was glorious.

I was a student at this game…love
