Use a 15–20 gallon tote or mortar tub under the cleanout; mine has a notch for a 4-inch pipe, then duct-putty a spillway to direct all fluids into the tub, add a 12V RV macerator pump (Flojet, SewerFlo), then run a 3/4 hose to a 55-gallon holding tank. With a supply of disposable absorbent pads, you won't spill a drop, won't leave them smelling like shit for the next two months or more, and won't get the smell complaints that will follow.

A house I bought about 16 years back had a tree root grow into the sewer out line. This went unnoticed until the first heavy rain had the basement flood with poo water. Dealing with it at least partially myself saved me about 5k, but it still cost another 5k on top of that.
