Dmitry Peskov said the idea hadn't previously been discussed publicly and would still need to be “assessed,” including how far it had been worked through and between whom. “In any case, it would mean that the armed forces of a NATO country would be operating on Ukrainian territory,” Peskov said. “That is exactly what the 'special military operation' is being conducted against.” He also said Moscow had no illusions about US military support for Ukraine, adding that Washington was continuing “full-scale” supplies of weapons and military technology, including Patriot systems.
