i dont think anyone actually saw this…

I don’t care if surviving a pyroclastic flow is unrealistic, this was such a great scene

I didn't get past episode 3 because the writing and acting was so terrible

It still gives me goosebumps

A rather inconsistent series overall in terms of quality but this is among the best single standalone hours of LOTR on screen IMO.

Even Sauron/Halbrand looks concerned in this scene.

I really wanted to like this show. Pieces like this, maybe I could. But I know too much of the source material to believe this is doing justice. As a stand-alone, it’s okay.
