Kaidro has always been about the steady growth and long term play in the development of the intellectual property. Before launching the web 3 elements through out 2024 with 4 successful NFT launches, Kaidro had another lifetime in web 2 with the growth of the story and audience through the online manga on Webtoons exactly 4 years ago in 2020. We as the creators spent a good decade developing the world, storylines, art, and design as well as sharing the world alongside our audience of over 1+ million followers on TikTok. First off, thank you for such great support so far. The book was #1 in Poverty Studies (Amazon) and even got to the low thousands in Fiction and Literature ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘ which I got a kick out of...nice to have a book that isn't in the trillion ranking... I'll be continuing to promote this book as it's still new but it's fun to get back to work on the Quitturz. I hope to have that out in maybe three months. Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No โ€œjobโ€ is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be โ€œreplacedโ€ ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for โ€œworkโ€ will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not โ€œwhat we doโ€, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters, Yesterday, our world was turned upside down when a sudden fire outbreak burnt down our entire kitchen. Everything from the space we had just moved into, to the new equipment we had recently invested in (freezers, burners, and more worth millions of naira) was lost in the flames. This is more than just a business to us. Over the years, spunk bakes has not only served good food but also built people, created opportunities, and given young men and women a place to work, grow, and support their families. If this business stops, the lives of those who depend on it will be greatly affected. We had big dreams for this new space a seat-in outlet and a mini lounge where people could come together, share meals, and create memories.
