I have a few relatives of mine just like this. There hasn’t been any others in our ancestry for centuries, which has been traced. People don’t understand genetic mutations.

Black Americans are a unique people. Skin color does not decide who looks alike. Plenty of dark-skinned and light-skinned Black Americans do not favor each other, even when we share the same complexion. And for the woman to be shocked this was a Black American child shows she doesn’t get out enough

The Proctor Family of Maryland has Black, Native American and white ancestry. The matriarch of the family was white. One source said they have 80% white heritage.
