Imagine if we had anyone who stepped up in October like he and those other boys did. We were spoiled, and now we have a bunch of choking head cases.

Jacob Tobias spent all four years at ASU. He went undrafted last year after hitting .322 with 18 homers and 58 RBI. He's the only Sun Devil to have back-to-back 10+ HR and 50+ RBI seasons since Spencer Torkelson. He emotionally reflected after his final game at Phoenix Muni.

December 9, 1979 JIM MARSHALL'S FINAL HOME GAME In his 20th and final #NFL season, #Vikings legend Jim Marshall plays his final game at The Met in Bloomington. In his 300th consecutive (regular/postseason) and penultimate NFL game — then an all-time NFL record for all players, and still a record for defensive players — Marshall logs 1½ sacks in a 10-3 win over Buffalo. #SKOL

I’m going to disagree—disrespectfully, of course. Highest #postseason OPS in MLB among those with at least 150 times up: 1. Lou Gehrig - 1.214 | 150 PA 2. Babe Ruth - 1.214 | 167 PA 3. George Brett - 1.023 | 184 PA 4. Carlos Beltrán - 1.021 | 256 PA 5. Albert Pujols - .995 | 360 PA 6. Bryce Harper - .986 | 250 PA 7. Nelson Cruz - .979 | 207 PA 8. Lance Berkman - .949 | 224 PA 9. David Ortiz - .947 | 369 PA 10. Randy Arozarena - .946 | 184 PA He is 8th all-time in postseason win-probability added. He, Shohei Ohtani, Babe Ruth,and Lou Gehrig are the only players ever with at least a .300 isolated slugging and a .375 on-base percentage.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Tague Davis is the 2026 ACC Player of the Year. And honestly? It wasn’t even a debate. The sophomore first baseman from Louisville is putting together one of the greatest offensive seasons in college baseball HISTORY. He’s the national leader in home runs, RBI, and total bases and he didn’t just break the ACC single-season home run record, he shattered it, 34 and counting after breaking the record that Florida State legend J.D. Drew set back in 1997 . Through 53 games, Davis is slashing .364 with 34 home runs and 93 RBI and nobody is close. 19 of his 34 home runs have come in ACC play alone the most by any ACC player in the last 10 years. He has 6 multi-homer games. 14 home runs with an exit velocity over 110 mph. And nearly half of his homers have come with two strikes. That’s not just power that’s ELITE! As a freshman in 2025, he hit .283/.390/.571 with 18 home runs and 52 RBI, breaking Louisville’s freshman home run record and leading the ACC. He came back his sophomore year and went nuclear. His father Ben Davis was the 2nd overall pick in the 1995 MLB Draft. The bloodline is real. ACC Player of the Year. Golden Spikes frontrunner. And he’s only a sophomore. The Ville’s got one. And has to keep him! 🔴⚫️⚾️

Nik's highlights from Wednesday night are more than 4 minutes long. He’s also the first Power 5 player in at least 20 years with 14 points, 13 assists and 6 steals in a conference game. And he’s Creighton’s only player in the last 20 years -- and the BIG EAST's first player since Markus Howard in 2019 -- to make eight or more free throws in three straight games.

No. 21 Barton College Baseball (22-5, 7-5) sweeps Francis Marion at home and is now an impressive 20-1 at home after a doubleheader sweep today. Is there anyone better on both sides of the ball than Tanner Halvorson? The Senior pitched a complete game with 8 strikeouts to go to 6-0 and hit a home run in the same game in the first game of the doubleheader. Halvorson leads the country in strikeouts with 62 and leads the team with 27 RBI. Freshman Gavin Gilmore is finding his groove, as he went 12-for-26 this week and is riding a 10-game hit streak. #D2Baseball

Ryan Ward hit home run #29 on the year, which leads the PCL, and he now has 107 RBIs, which is 23 more than the next closest player in that stat. Ward is the ALL-TIME home run & RBI leader for a career in the history of the Bricktown Era in OKC. Yesterday, as reported by Alex Freedman on the broadcast, Ward also tied the single-season all-time record for RBIs in the Bricktown Era. Go back and watch the Movie Bull Durham...Actually, you don't need to, because you're seeing that movie play out in real life. #dodgers

🚨VIEWER DISCRETION🚨 sucking off Mahomes: Patrick Mahomes has been an underdog in 13 games. In those 13 games, he is 10-3. Mahomes has played in 119 games. He has played 6 full seasons, he is 3rd in all time playoff wins, and 4th in Super Bowl wins. Mahomes is the RECORD HOLDER for most quarterback rushing yards in Super Bowls. (172) In the last 30 years, there has never been a QB to go 8/8 or better with 27+ rushing yards, in a single drive in any game regular season or post season. Mahomes did that in overtime of the Super Bowl last year. Mahomes has started 101 games in the regular season, only 3 of them he lost by more than one score. He is 5-1 when trailing by 10 or more points, at any point in the playoffs. The rest of the NFL is 6-48. Mahomes is the first quarterback to win a Super Bowl with the biggest cap hit in the NFL.
