She's deliberately put this inflated figure into her speeches to provoke a culture war, and then even inflated it to "billions" in a newspaper article She already knows violence that has been incited by language like this, but is simply using this as desperate attempt for votes.

Despite what you say, there is a reasonable concern amongst decent peace loving folk, about hundreds of often mainly young men, coming in on boats every day, discarding their documents before they arrive. Surely it cannot be right and we cannot carry on in this way.

Hi there - hundreds is very different from 100 million or "billions" as the Home Sec mentioned. I believe we can find positive solutions that will help a reasonable number of genuinely needy people find sanctuary and inflated figures don't help with that reasonable conversation
