“Brahmins had 100% reservation in education for 3,000 years. 10% of the community occupied 100% of the seats for 3,000 years, and now they are complaining about reservation for just 70 years.” — Vikas Divyakirti

Reservation, Reform & Rights Samajwadi Party opposed women's reservation because they demanded a 'quota within a quota'. They were afraid the creamy layer would get all the reservation... Then why is there no 'quota within a quota' in the SC/ST?: ＠ARanganathan72 There is a lot of misunderstanding around why reservation was given. It was given just for 10 years for political reservation... But that article was modified and extended to 80 years...: ＠neha_laldas speaks on 'why reservation was given?' INDIA UPFRONT | ＠RoyPranesh

It's been more than 75 years, it's time to demand real reforms in Reservations: 1. Income-based Reservation only 2. One Time Reservation- use either for studies or jobs

“Brahmins had 100% reservation for 3000 years,” says Dr. Vikas Divyakirti. Yet 2000 years ago, Indian merchants left their signatures in Egypt. Were they Brahmins, Vaishyas, Kshatriyas, or Shudras? History isn’t so simple. Perhaps Dr. Vikas should find that out first.

Reservation for grad, post-grad, jobs & even promotion-how much upliftment is enough after 75 years? Time to bring some changes- 1. #OneFamilyOneReservation 2. #OneTimeReservation- either for studies or jobs 3. Sunset clause- Reservation ends after specific period

If reservation is so magical… Then implement 100% reservation in the private sector too. Valmiki-Khatik are demanding? Raise it from 50 to 80 crore. Make it 100% according to population. “Share according to population” — This is just a political slogan. Romanticising poverty, blaming for a thousand years, and crushing merit in the name of justice. How much more do you want? #EndReservation #ReservationReforms

Ravish Kumar is Biggest Idiot in Journalism! Ravish says Women Reservation Bill says reservation will be for 15 years and then there will be a Review to extend it or not. Says this is dangerous plot to put timeline on SC/ST Reservation. But what ravish kumar doesn't know is that SC/ST Reservation in Parliament already has 10 years timeline and it keeps on extending for every 10 years. Who put the 10 years Timeline? - Babasaheb Ambedkar Political Reservation started in 1950 for 10 years. Extensions of the 10 year limit 1. 1960 → 1970 8th Amendment Act (1959) 2. 1970 → 1980 23rd Amendment Act (1969) 3. 1980 → 1990 45th Amendment Act (1980) 4. 1990 → 2000 62nd Amendment Act (1989) 5. 2000 → 2010 79th Amendment Act (1999) 6. 2010 → 2020 95th Amendment Act (2009) 7.2020 → 2030 104th Amendment Act (2019) Next it will be extended again for 10 years in 2029.

This is the grand haveli of Govind Gujjar ji in Uttar Pradesh. Backward class, ji. So exploited, oppressed, and deprived. Reservation is their only hope in life, ji. Gujjar’s reservation must continue for at least the next 1000 years, ji.
