$1000 drawing ruined 🥲

No disrespect to parents and children, but this is one of the reasons why I don't want to have kids 😅😣

How is it ruined? That's a collaboration and an artistic challenge. Crayons are underrated fine art materials.

So when I’m draw with my students, they immediately draw all over my picture and say “ let me help you color!” I teach them to asks a friend before coloring on someone else’s picture, but for my art , I don’t care

@AsiaLadowska I’m talking about a preschool table where kids are ages 3-5 are drawing their own picture. If I’m drawing with them, they want to color my pictures. I don’t mind if they color with me, but I teach them to ask a friend first before coloring on their paper.

@AsiaLadowska I think it's important to teach smaller kids straight boundaries. Kids are kinda like dogs. They understand no, but they don't understand "this one specific case is no, but if this case is true it's a yes" like your "you can't draw on others pictures. Ask first. but mine is fine"

I hate when parents don't stop their children from ruining things... she clearly wanted her kid to have fun and feel like they are contributing to the work but they should know what's ok and what isn't. If they wanna draw, give them their own canvas 😭😭 this is such a waste aaa

You take the baby's hand, tell them gently "that's mean, don't do that on my paper" then redirect them to their paper If they're too young to understand, you should either be doing the art where they can't get to it, or they shouldn't have crayons at all

I love it, and the best part the kid know to do this on paper and not walls (hopefully). That $1000 drawing became priceless.

If she really didn't want the child "helping" her, she should've drawn in a separate room, or given the child her own paper & crayons. It's just rage bait, she wanted the kid to mess it up.

Parenting might help. Teaching the kid to respect other people's property should be step 1. If they can't understand that, then they're too young for crayons. But also, no drawing is worth $1000 lmao. Ya'll ain't Picasso.

Lovly peice of art. But my need for perfectionism in it could never cope xD i have my reasons for being childless, but you sound like you had fun, even if its at the expense of some fantastic art using a very under used medium. Kid just wanted to add his own flare lol
