I once did 1000 sit ups. About 400 in, my stomach began to cramp really badly. I kept going. I had never cramped so bad in my life. I kept going. I completed 1000, and I struggled to walk to the back door of the gym to get some fresh air. Within an hour, I drove myself home. An hour after that I was in the ER, getting ready for emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia. I have not done more than 100 in a day since. 1000 is a magical number! Do it!
