@hambone1063 God the best part of this is you can hear "Who let the dogs out" in the background. What a time to be a 2000's kid

@hambone1063 And then he left NYC 🗽 because Denver - checks notes - supposedly had better schools… 🤦‍♂️ 🙄 Hampton could have been a NYC legend. Instead he chose to be a footnote.

@hambone1063 But... Hampton didn't hit anybody after Roids Rocket Roger threw the bat at @mikepiazza31.

@hambone1063 Feel like you could see it in Mike Hampton’s face he knew wasn’t pitching for NY after that year.

@hambone1063 If the compensatory draft pick didn't end up being David Wright, that trade would've been a massive "L" for us. Dotel was filthy with Houston while Benitez was stinking up the joint. And Roger Cedeno hadn't discovered the all you can eat buffet yet. Thank God Hampton left.

@hambone1063 Via him we got the compensatory pick that came to be David Wright.

@hambone1063 surprised Timo didn't drop the ball. I will never forgive him for Game 1 of the World Series.

@hambone1063 Was there sat in a box with Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins. They were a nightmare. Tim got his WS tickets handed to him in the 4th inning.
