Its insane that people still defend that contract. Even for 8 years 11 mil wouldve been a lot. But at least ur getting max term. But him getting almost 2 mil more than Rantanen for same amount of years never made sense. And they've been pretty equivalent comparables til this day.

Mitch Marner is one of the biggest disappointments in Leafs history. The guy could not have been any less clutch. Thanks for quite literally nothing

As a habs fan, marner was the player i feared.. Marner every year was over a PPG, had 100 points or on pace for 100 6 times in his career. Trying to take away from marner who in my opinion was better than matthews on TOR is crazy. And this is from a habs fan who sees alot of TOR
