AND as for the Hunter Class Frigates: The initial budget for the first three ships was approximately AU$6.2 billion. The total cost for the first three ships is now estimated at AU$27 billion, averaging about AU$9 billion per ship. In comparison the Arleigh Burke Class DESTROYERS only cost $2.1B..........that's a destroyer costing over FOUR TIMES the price of a fucking Frigate!
