BORDER UPDATE: Out this morning in Eagle Pass, Texas, showing areas along the Rio Grande recently used for illegal crossings involving special interest immigrants & unaccompanied children. Texas DPS Troopers & National Guard forces have secured the area, preventing illegal border crossings. One thing of interest is the presence of colored wristbands littered on the ground. This type of trend has been used by the Cartels that operate across the Rio Grande Valley but now is being used in Eagle Pass. 🚨Human Smuggling Pursuit – Maverick County🚨 On 10/16/25, a smuggler driving a red Ford Explorer led Texas DPS Troopers on a high-speed pursuit along US-57 in Maverick County. During the traffic stop, the driver — identified as Tetja Spears of Houston — refused to turn off her vehicle after the Trooper detected the odor of marijuana.
