@WorldSBK It should be a condition of entry in the series (GP as well) that the World Champ uses the #1 plate, given they've earned it.
I think you should use this as you’ve earned it

Run the 1 as people don’t always guarantee a second chance to wear it. Imagine Mir never winning a championship again and he’s missed the chance for a great big photo in the book of forever, with a great big number one on the front!
