Today, I have got the reply from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs regarding deletion of the Nomadic Chin Kuki from the ST list. It is a very big positive reply from the Central Ministry. I urge the Manipur State Government to send the recommendation for the same very soon . Further I want to urge a few lines to the State Government: 1. FIRs have been lodged against the Meira Paibis of Manipur regarding the current issue. I urge the Government to revoke all of them as they are among the ones who have been guarding tirelessly for the safety of the Indigenous people of Manipur against the Chin Kuki Narco Terrorists. 2. The 2 Kuki Ministers have been playing a key role in demanding Seperate Administration for the Kukis.
