Penn State head football coach Matt Campbell believes in mastering the basics, not becoming a jack of all trades. " You've been there. Your team's not good enough yet. So you try to out scheme everybody. And really what happens is you become the jack of all trades, master of nothing. And we're always trying to catch up 'cause we're just not good enough. So we're gonna out scheme you. Which honestly, it sets your program back. And so what we did is really simple. We're gonna be really good at quarters. We're gonna play four down. We're gonna play base defense. We're gonna play quarters. We're gonna learn how to tackle. We're gonna learn how to run into the football. First drill we do every single day on defense is pursuit drill. Now we're 10th in the country in total team defense. You know what we do really well? We run with the football. You know what we did on offense? We took two run plays. We took three pass plays. But we got really good at it. We became great teachers again instead of trying to be the jack of all trades We got back to what allowed our kids to learn and grow and develop to be the best they can be."

Jack Dorsey on why building something for yourself can be better than trying to solve a problem When a 29 year old Jack Dorsey joined the podcasting startup Odeo, he soon learned that no one there really cared about podcasting either: “That was one of Odeo’s biggest failures. We were not building tools for us. We were building tools for other people.” As Odeo struggled, the team began to look for new ideas, and Jack presented his idea for Twitter. Somewhat counterintuitively, the product would not solve a specific problem: “Twitter solves no one’s problem at all. It was something we wanted to use. It was something we wanted to see in the world. It was something we wanted to use on a daily basis, and that’s all that drove us. That’s what got us up every single morning, and that’s what made it meaningful.” It turns out there were more people like Jack and the Odeo team who wanted to use it to. “I think that is one of the biggest lessons I learned—Twitter did not start as a company. Twitter started as a product within another company that was failing. And to me, this really emphasized the fact that entrepreneurship is not necessarily starting a new company. I used to pay $1 for a jumbo Jack from Jack in the box. When I graduated high school in 94 I worked as a laborer in a painting company, I was paid $15 an hour that was 15 jumbo jacks an hour. Now I am a handyman " basically an unlicensed contractor". I charge $45 an hour which is actually pretty reasonable, but when you consider that a jumbo Jack is $5+ I am now only earning nine jumbo jacks an hour. That's BIDENOMICS Baby. Inflation is real. Everyone complains that things are more expensive the reality is the dollar is worth less because of all of the printing and aid to other countries. Every dollar given to another country Diminishes the value of the ones sitting in your pocket or your bank. Illegal aliens undermining the value of a day's work does not help either. Consider I would have to charge $75 just to keep up with inflation let alone the fact that I didn't even own a car then. Now with 30 years experience,I own all my tools paint sprayer saws, table saws and and I am proficient in painting electrical ,plumbing' drywall ,framing and other trades. Conversely somebody making $15 an hour today would be equivalent to $3 an hour and 94 "The math ain't mathin". Eat your heart out Tucker Carlson .
