The release of this British couple followed the visit of Richard Lindsay, the UK’s special envoy for Afghanistan, and a Qatari delegation to Afghanistan. Barbie Reynolds and her husband Peter Reynolds were arrested in February this year while traveling to their home in Bamiyan.
