Still charges great and free after 10 years!

One of the largest impacts on EV adoption any team has ever made. ~73k Superchargers over ~7.5k sites worldwide, all in just 13 years. Happy birthday! 🎂

So about that free forever thing…..

I am glad you dropped the battery swapping idea

Still going strong, 12 years later :)

And still free… oh wait. 😂 Seriously though, Tesla should bring that back in a limited fashion. Maybe give Tesla customers around 2,000 miles of complimentary Supercharging every year to make sure people don’t mooch all their miles off it. Would be a great additional incentive for non Tesla EV drivers who do annual road trips to switch to a Tesla.

Free forever. Wish that was still true.

That's awesome!

The only part that didn't come true is that Supercharger would be free forever. But we all knew this. Right?

Still free if you got one of those early model S or X. Tesla achieved on supercharger across the country.

And still going strong - with many new stations being added every week throughout the world! In Norway alone, there are more than 150 sites, and we surpassed 2000 stalls last summer! Supercharging plug and charge is super smart. and even if not for free to all cars, comes with good prices compared to other vendors.

I’ll never forget my first Supercharging session in -20F temps back in 2018. Y’all have come so far, thanks for everything!

great work, and there is almost 0 slowdown of expansion of supercharger network! remember the uproar when Elon disbanded the "Supercharger team" last year? turns out it worked great after all and chargers kept expanding by far best charging experiences

ABC „always be charging“ I‘m loven it 🫶🏼

The best charging infrastructure by faaaar

@elonmusk 🌟❤️

2015ish from the video vs Today

Free supercharging for the life of the vehicle! Still looks and drives like new.

😮

@elonmusk Elon has been building (and reinventing) a new world here. Next step: Pollinating a new world for humans on Mars!

First Tesla Roadster Production started in March 2008 at Lotus’s factory in Hethel, England, with final assembly in Menlo Park, California. • The first production Roadster, dubbed “P1,” was delivered to Elon Musk. • Initial challenges included supply chain issues, cost overruns, and technical hurdles with the battery and transmission, delaying deliveries and raising costs.

My first Supercharger experience June 2018 Berry, NSW Australia 🇦🇺

The old light-up-ring charge port was peak tbh... way easier to find in the dark.

HW3 FSD owners will take free supercharging for life. That'll ease the sting a bit.

Thank you for your hard work.

I don’t want free but it would be nice to pay lower charging rates.

Back when he wasn't a hate-filled dishonest asshole who encouraged & supported government-level censorship, doxxing and corruption.

Free forever 🥲 Maybe one day, again, with sustainable abundance

@Kristennetten This announcement was why I invested in TSLA. Best investment of my life. ♥️ I’d been working with EVs for 20 years, I could see this solved the EV range issue. It’s still true. No one does it better.

"free forever" We knew that couldn't last. I do approve selling free Supercharging with vehicles. Alas, out of my price range.

@elonmusk 2013 in Miami with my Tesla S. Even cops stopped me just to see how amazing was the car

How time flies! No stopping now

On January 20 this year.... Your CEO showed his true colours...

.@elonmusk ?

Make Supercharging Great Again — Kick out all of the non-Teslas!
