BOWIE EXITS THE 70s IN THE UK WITH KENNY EVERETT “Can you hear me, Major Tom?” 45 years ago today, David Bowie’s re-recording of Space Oddity was broadcast on the Will Kenny Everett Make It To 1980? Show. You'll be familiar with this broadcast (Shot 18 September 1979 | Broadcast 31 December 1979), but this From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free edit bears repeating. The original footage was directed for the show by Bowie’s video director of the time, David Mallet, the action takes place in a high-ceilinged padded cell and an exploding kitchen with an unflappable nurse. Speaking to Angus MacKinnon in the NME in 1980, Bowie said: “That came about because (David) Mallet wanted me to do something for his show and he wanted Space Oddity. I agreed as long as I could do it again without all its trappings and do it strictly with three instruments. Having played it with just an acoustic guitar onstage early on, I was always surprised as how powerful it was just as a song, without all the strings and synthesizers. In fact the video side of it was secondary; I really wanted to do it as a three-piece song.” Both scenes were recreated for the May 1980 filming of Ashes To Ashes, the continuity experts among you will notice the very obvious differences. So, ten years after it was originally a hit, Major Tom also had the last word of the 70s for Bowie. Another 45 years on and the impact of this version is still as powerful. Today, Stern Pinball, Inc., revealed Metallica Remastered – a technologically advanced version of one of Stern Pinball’s greatest hits. Metallica Pinball was originally released in 2013 and is one of the most successful and beloved pinball games ever. Metallica Remastered has elevated the game to the modern era with gameplay, electronics, and presentation improvements. Metallica Remastered pinball games are available now in Premium and Limited Edition (LE) models, along with a full line of accessories available at launch. Guys, I really need to get a few words off my chest: The last year has left a noticeable mark on me. I had to fight my way back from severe depression and a severe anxiety disorder into a regular everyday routine. It was the worst and the lowest phase of my life and to this date I still haven't reached my point of recovery. BUT, if you had asked me a year ago where I would see myself today, I would never, under any circumstances have dreamed that I would be on stage at Furovision, hosted by NordicFuzzCon , singing in front of a gigantic audience and getting in second place. This result shows me once again that it is right not to give up hope and to enjoy life to the full, even if you are at a low point from which it seems hopeless to get out. Better times will come and that's what happened to me. And that's why my special thanks go to my husband who never gave up believing in me, to my friends and all the people who congratulated me on my performance, to all my content enjoyers and supporters on all platforms, and above all to the Furry Fandom in general. Without this fandom, I would just be a simple clerk with chronic back pain. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for enriching my life so much. I hope for many more great and exciting years in this fandom with you and with lots of fluff. 💙🦊

🚫𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃🚫 Hi Everyone I said I would post after debut but turns out I needed some extra time to recover (more tired than I thought) but now it's 2 days later so here we go… I wanted to start by saying THANK YOU ALL!❤️ The support and love I’ve gotten from everyone, creators and viewers alike, has honestly been nothing short of mind-blowing and exceeds anything I could have ever dreamed of. There have been creators that I've looked up to for years, that have reached out in some way or another, and that experience is enough to make me want to curl up into a ball and violently cry😭 I first started making videos around 2 years ago just for fun, and started streaming around 1.5 years ago, and to get this far has exceeded my whilst dreams. (For context I thought 1k subs in 5 years would have been INSANE) My whole life I've been on the straight and narrow, keeping things pretty safe… It was just how I was raised. But late last year, I did a lot of reflecting on what I really wanted to do in life, and what made me the happiest. This year I'm taking perhaps my first and biggest risk, and trying to do content full time. It's been rocky, chaotic and exhausting but I'm finally doing something I'm passionate about. And it's all thanks to you, thank you so much❤️ Everyone's kind words and support has been overwhelming, and the fact that it's enabled me to at least try full time content is extremely humbling and you have all made me the happiest mafia bull man alive. Thank you to the people who supported me along my journey, my friends, my mods, my community and my personal managers/editors. The #PowerRangersPreservationProject Presents The DINORANGERS Pitch With Bio-Man Pilot Footage! Sometime after Saban’s Galaxy Rangers Pitch but before MMPR footage was ready, Saban released DINORANGERS — a 6.5 minute Pitch recycling more bits from the lost Bioman Pilot with Mark Dacascos, Tricia Leigh Fisher, Miguel A Nunez Jr, Tom Silardi, and Rebecca Staples cut against Zyuranger Footage [and even some Bioman!]. New US Bio-Man footage included previously seen Preservation Teasers like Victor Lee’s and Zack Taylor’s extended intros, a solitary peek at an Americanized Peebo as Alpha-5, plus a variety of new shots of the teens in the desert, additional interactions [❌90210❌], and a final moment of Zack at Victor Lee’s Dojo. Most notably, Barbara Goodson appears as the iconic voice of Rita Repulsa — predating the original MMPR Cast — while also dubbing Trini in Zyu footage, as the Bio-Man Pilot Cast were years removed from production. Much of the dialogue would be recycled in the MMPR Pilot and Series. Detoxing to increase life expectancy and liver health:How legit medical practitioners are being comical (and very wrong) about health information. I like Dr. Pal Manickam. He is a Gastroenterologist from California. He makes really comical videos. Some of them make me laugh out loud. But I wish he would be more serious about the content inside his videos because a lot of it are heavy on the misinformation side. I chose to discuss this video because 1) it has garnered millions of views on Instagram and liked by more than 10K people and 2) it talks about detoxing and the liver and 3) it is standard clinician's creed/code to correct health misinformation. In the video, Dr. Pal speaks about endotoxins and exotoxins. Endotoxins he says are toxins within our body like urea and feces and exotoxins are packaged foods. I am deeply worried about his inaccuracies despite being a board certified Gastroenterologist in the USA. Endotoxins are the main component of the outer membrane of the cell wall of a specific type of bacteria - called the Gram-negative group of bacteria or GNB. GNB's are so called because do not retain the crystal violet stain used in the Gram staining method (invested by Danish microbiologist Hans Christian Gram). GNB's are characterized by their cell envelopes, which are composed of a thin peptidoglycan (made of sugars+amino acids) cell wall sandwiched between an inner cell membrane and a bacterial outer membrane. Endotoxins are literally "poisons." Their production in the body leads to inflammatory responses at the cell, tissue, organ and systems level which is taken care (neutralized) of by a series of complex process that start in the gut and involving the liver in healthy persons. Example of endotoxin is lipopolysaccharide. Urea is not an endotoxin. It is a substance formed by the breakdown of protein in the liver. The kidneys filter urea out of the blood and into the urine. Urea is the major constituent of the urine and the principal means for disposal of nitrogen derived from amino acid metabolism. Feces are not endotoxins, even though they contain endotoxins. In simple terms, feces, or excrement, is the waste matter remaining after food has been digested, absorbed and thereafter discharged from the bowels. Exotoxins are also toxins secreted by bacteria. An exotoxin can cause damage to the host by destroying cells or disrupting normal cellular metabolism. They are highly potent and can cause major damage to the host. Exotoxins may be secreted, or, similar to endotoxins, may be released when bacteria dies. Example of exotoxin is Botulinum toxin secreted by bacteria Clostridium botulinum. This toxin is notorious for causing a paralytic disease called botulism in infants when they are fed honey at birth. Packaged foods are not exotoxins. They are sources of carbohydrates, proteins and fats and have nutritive value. Toxins do not have nutritive value. In the video, Dr. Pal says our liver will clear all the toxins. He also speaks about sunrise to sunset method - eating from 7AM to 7PM and fasting from 7PM to 7AM which will help detox the body and there is no requirement for "fancy detox diets." He then advises a 24 hour water fasting once a month to detox the body. The liver does not clean all toxins. The lungs, kidneys and skin are also important "detoxifiers" in the body. A lot of misinformation is spread by doctors who "detach organ systems" from the "whole" to sell their agenda of a special practice (like gut detox diet) or sell a supplement that will help improve organ health (such as liver detox drugs) completely ignoring the fact that the "The Whole (body) is Greater than the Sum of its Parts (organs)." The Sunset-Sunrise method is a type of time-restricted eating and a "fancy diet" which Dr.Pal himself is advocating against. A recent high quality study in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that time-restricted feeding DID NOT have any benefits over calorie restriction alone in the context of weight loss, body fat changes or metabolic risk factors. Water Fasting is an extreme form of "fancy dieting" and a possibly detrimental "fad diet" which has no conclusive benefits and is not recommended by any clinical societies in the world. It is only recommended by people with anecdotal experience on the same or by those who ignorantly advocate the same without understanding scientific evidence on it, like Dr.Pal himself. An 8-day water fasting only led to sense of well-being and did not affect metabolic factors. It increased uric acid, ketosis, lowered glucose and dehydrated people and can lead to lifethreatening metabolic derangements. Prolonged water-fasting increased triglycerides and insulin resistance after refeeding, the detrimental effects of which remain unknown in long term. All the current available studies on water-fasting is on minimum 5 day to almost 6 weeks of intermittent water-fast and NONE on single day a month fasting as mentioned by Dr.Pal. Again, this advise is just bluff and there is no evidence that it would led to healthier outcomes or improve disease conditons. There is NO evidence that water fasting or time-restricted diets DETOX the body. Detox is a wellness marketing fraud term which is thrown around by people, including doctors, who deeply lack scientific temper, critical thinking and rationality.

Mother with two kids her abusive boyfriend vandalized her apartment and stole her gun two weeks after he was arrested for putting his hands on her. According yo her gofund me page… Hi my name is Destinee I'm a single mother of two who just moved back to Dallas from Chicago just to give my kids a better life. I Wanted my kids to experience something more than where we were from. Better schools, more opportunities, and cheaper rent for me to be able to do more with my kids. It all backfired on me dealing with a man I thought I could trust somebody I was with on and off for 2 years. Two weeks ago he put his hands on me and that was my final straw me. I have a daughter and I refuse to let her see me get abused by a man. I have to lead by example for both of my kids. Being the God fearing woman l am I gave him a few weeks to get his situation in order to official leave my apartment today. I went about my day as normal took my kids to school and went to do Lyft. Once I got back home he has completely vandalized my apartment from TVs, my content phone, my bed, my daughter's iPad, clothes and more! He also stole my gun I took all the proper steps to get him arrested for the assault from 2 weeks ago and for property damage that was done today. Detective stated it will take 3 to 5 business days for any progress but they are on top of it considering his background they cannot issue out a protective order until they have him in custody. I Will be going to the courthouse tomorrow to try and get a temporary restraining order but for now it's all a waiting game. just started my job and I just moved back here and I refuse to lose it all or let him run me back to Chicago. My daughter's birthday is in 4 days and I have to put a smile on my face and pick up the pieces for my babies.

POST OFFICE PUT A CHILD IN PRISON In 2002 Tracy Felstead Tracy Felstead was a 19 year old counter clerk. She worked at the Camberwell Green Post Office branch in south London. She had left school and was proud to have a job with a company everyone trusted. Then the Post Office's Horizon computer system showed a shortfall of £11,503 at her till. Nobody checked if the machine was wrong. Post Office investigators decided Tracy was a thief. She was interviewed under caution at Peckham police station. Investigators asked her to prove she did not steal money that a computer had simply invented. They even asked if her own family had pressured her to steal. Her family scraped together the £11,500 and paid it back. They were told this could help her avoid prison. It did not work. Tracy was convicted of theft and false accounting at trial. The judge sent her to a young offender institution for 6 months. She was still a teenager. Inside, she saw things no 19 year old should see. She has said the memory of prison still comes back to her now, decades later. She has spoken about trying to take her own life twice because of what happened to her. Years later the stress caught up with her body too. She suffered a neurological breakdown that left her temporarily paralysed on one side. Tracy was not alone. Horizon was built and run by Fujitsu Fujitsu UK. Between 2000 and 2014 the Post Office prosecuted more than 700 sub-postmasters and counter staff using data from that same system. It is now officially called the biggest miscarriage of justice in British legal history. Paula Vennells Paula Vennells ran the Post Office as chief executive from 2012 to 2019. Under her watch the organisation spent millions fighting the very people it had wrongly accused, rather than admitting the software was broken. Over 1 million people later signed a petition demanding she hand back her CBE. The Court of Appeal finally quashed Tracy's conviction in 2021. 19 years after she went to prison. Nobody at the Post Office or Fujitsu spent a single night in a cell for it. In 2023 Tracy sat down with Post Office bosses in Parliament, with the support of her then MP Lucy Allan Lucy Allan. I've been following Musk Industry for 13 years. I first invested in Tesla in December 2012 after being inspired by the company's mission. The more I dug into its leader - Elon Musk - the more fascinated I became with what he was building. I became so inspired by it that I ended up working at Tesla from 2017 through 2021. After achieving financial independence thanks to the insane gains from my Tesla stock, I left Tesla to pursue my own path. I had a vision for years of travel with my wonderful wife, mojitos on the beach, and a life of comfort while I discovered my true calling. Instead, 5 weeks after leaving Tesla, I started a YouTube channel talking about my experience at the company and my vision for Musk industry. And now, almost 4 years later, my YouTube and X accounts combine for 700,000 subscribers and followers. Doesn’t matter how hard I try - I’m too fascinated by the Da Vinci of our time. I’ve learned to accept it. The reality is that we are likely living through the most interesting time in human history. I started making content as a hobby, but once my son was born about a year and a half ago, I was filled with a sense of purpose that I've never felt before. And I’ve had the unique honor and privilege to work alongside some of the most talented, hard working, and passionate people you could possibly surround yourself with. I've been following Musk Industry for 13 years. I first invested in Tesla in December 2012 after being inspired by the company's mission. The more I dug into its leader - Elon Musk - the more fascinated I became with what he was building. I became so inspired by it that I ended up working at Tesla from 2017 through 2021. After achieving financial independence thanks to the insane gains from my Tesla stock, I left Tesla to pursue my own path. I had a vision for years of travel with my wonderful wife, mojitos on the beach, and a life of comfort while I discovered my true calling. Instead, 5 weeks after leaving Tesla, I started a YouTube channel talking about my experience at the company and my vision for Musk industry. And now, almost 4 years later, my YouTube and X accounts combine for 700,000 subscribers and followers. Doesn’t matter how hard I try - I’m too fascinated by the Da Vinci of our time. I’ve learned to accept it. The reality is that we are likely living through the most interesting time in human history. I started making content as a hobby, but once my son was born about a year and a half ago, I was filled with a sense of purpose that I've never felt before. And I’ve had the unique honor and privilege to work alongside some of the most talented, hard working, and passionate people you could possibly surround yourself with. I’ve been extremely fortunate in so many different ways. But now, I’ve discovered my true purpose. My purpose is to be the best possible husband and father to my family, and to ensure I do everything I can to leave the world a better place for my children. For me to execute that mission at the highest level, I have to make sure the work I do is complementary to this mission. It has become clear to me that what I’m doing today - covering the way Musk Industry is transforming the world, all the adjacent industries that are involved, and all the new industries that will appear because of Musk Industry - will be extremely valuable for many. I firmly believe we are entering the most groundbreaking 20 year period in human history, and I've spent well over 10,000 hours researching, analyzing, and pondering the impacts the world will feel. Just looking at Musk Industry, FSD and Robotaxi will heavily disrupt transportation. Starship will further disrupt rocketry and make us multiplanetary. X has already disrupted media and liberated Western Democracy. xAI will be a major player in AI long term. Optimus Bot will heavily disrupt physical labor and will be used to physically build out self-sustainable civilizations on Mars. Etcetera, etcetera.
