Your explanation is wrong.. the water belongs to rain catchment areas where it rains.. if Karnataka has built dams to hold rainwater and save it it doesn’t automatically belong to any downstream states. Simple solution is to follow the principle of natural justice.. if Karnataka need is say 50 TMC anything excessive of 50 TMC should be shared with TN. If Karnataka itself gets rain of say 30 TMC in a bad monsoon year. There there is no point asking for share.. if rain catchment areas cannot get water then how will it share to neighbouring states

Kaveri is not ground water to give everything The water kongas asking is the rain water. if they want more they should build more dams and collect their own water in kaveri besin instead of begging others

Why doesn’t Tn build dams on its side to catch rainwater ? , why does it grow 4 crops when Karnataka barely afford 2 crops due to lesser water , Mekedatu dam has been approved by Supreme Court already

Taking Building example wrong 😑 Top 2 floors won’t get much water pressure, due to gravity bottom floors will get more pressure when compared to top. Should have taken another example.

Anyone who was happy that India suspended Indus water treaty with Pakistan has to be supporting Karnataka here. If you support Tamil Nadu, effectively you are supporting Pakistan. 😉😼

Didi, in the example of the overhead water tank of a multi-storey building, you would do well to understand that water flows with gravity. And hence, when the tank has very less water, the lower floors get water first, and the higher floors remain at mercy of lower floors 😌🤦🏽
