In reaction, cloud computing became a monthly expense with a whole new set of tools designed to manage that expense (hello, DevOps). AI is going to follow a similar trajectory. LLM providers want AI to be a monthly cost we all mindlessly pay. Building virtual sets on top of reality, moving around in them and seeing them transformed entirely with Gen AI. Is this the future? :D This was quite simple to make actually: Figmin XR running on my Quest 3, using some models from sketchfab and some custom creations to set-dress my hallway. Filming a small performance of walking through the set and then using Runway Gen 3 to transform that. I'm still missing a lot of control with the AI process, like uploading style frames along the duration of the video.. but overall this is pretty incredible! Can't help but think about how insane it would have been to be able to use Dreams for stuff like this! What do you think? #art #ai

In 2026, multi-player AI will eat single-player AI. Right now, most AI tools are built for one human + one model in a private workspace. ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude. Incredibly powerful, but currently optimized for individuals. The impact is massive: drafts, code, specs, campaigns, workflows. But almost none of it is shared, aligned, or contextualized across a team. We've seen this movie before. Cloud 1.0 was just "the same software, but online". The real breakthrough was collaboration. Google Docs beat Word. Figma beat Sketch. Notion beat Evernote. Every single-player tool lost to its multi-player counterpart. AI is about to go through the same transformation. AI 1.0 gave individuals superpowers. AI 2.0 will give teams superpowers. And just like cloud, single-player tools will go multi-player or get replaced. If you're building here, I'd love to talk.
