1/4 Thread: ⚠️WARNING GRAPHIC⚠️ Recently this little guy had boiling water thrown at him because he was playing at a lady’s gate in Langa in Cape Town.

2/4 Upon calling the police, his family was told that the South African Police Service in Langa had no vans available to assist and obviously arrest the woman that did this.

3/4 It took more than a week of pressure from the Langa community and my Action Society colleague, @kaylynnpalm to have the suspect arrested and charged.

4/5 The community and Action Society stood together to make sure bail was denied when she applied for bail at her last appearance. The little guy is recovering well!
