Hard to believe that performance in the Guineas only earned Frankel joint 3rd with Sea The Stars on Timeform ratings. Still was a fair way behind the performance of Brigadeir Gerard and just behind El Gran Senor. No doubt the latter two faced much better opposition though.

Supreme horse, but bar Frankel, that was the worst Guineas field ever assembled, bar the tailed off Roderick O'Connor, who won irish 2000 guineas the rest were devoid of ability.
