It started with an email from Maury Povich, of all people, who wanted Justin on his show for a competition. His mom shut it down immediately. "My mom was really like, she's a single mom, so she was really skeptical of the music business. She had no clue. We didn't have a lawyer. We didn't want to sign to anything." After that, managers started coming out of the woodwork. Justin's mom kept turning them away for the same reason: no lawyer, no trust, no deal. Then Scooter Braun entered the picture, and he didn't take no for an answer. "He basically stalked us a little bit, kind of got in contact with us. And finally my mom was calling him back to say, 'Listen, stop calling me.' And he was like, 'I really see a lot in your son. I can help you guys.'" What was meant to be a brush-off turned into an hours-long phone call. Scooter connected them with lawyers. Then he flew Justin and his mom to Atlanta, free of charge, just to get to know them. That Atlanta trip is where everything changed. Justin and Scooter were heading to the studio to meet some people when Usher happened to pull up at the same time. The funeral of a 12 year old Black child that was executed by Latino gang members was held yesterday. He was assassinated last month by racist Mexican gang members in Long Beach. He was walking with his 14 year old sister when the mexicans pulled up on them and asked them where was they from, he told him he’s not in a gang and they still proceeded to chase the children gunning them down. He died and his 14 year old sister was also shot.

Oh man, I went down a ‘Diddy’ rabbit hole last night and saw clips of him with Justin Bieber that are jarring. I’m sharing a couple here. What struck me was the fear in Justin’s eyes at different ages and the nervousness, but one clip in particular has me shook. Watch at about the 60-second mark. We don’t know what Diddy whispers to Justin, but it sure looks like he is gently checking for a wire. A reminder, perhaps? Then I watched an interview from 2020 that hit hard, especially when Justin Bieber talks about wanting to shield Billie Eilish from what he went through as a young celebrity. It made me realize I was wrong about Bieber. I was not a follower of Justin Bieber as a person or his music. He is from my kids’ generation, but I remember thinking he was not a good kid, especially when I saw him take a piss in that bucket in the restaurant kitchen. Like, WTF! But this is a man who was exposed to too much at too young an age, without the guidance he should have had. I wish him peace, healing and a fair shake.

When it was time to pay up, the worker just offered him a plate of food instead of the $100 that they originally agreed upon. It wasn’t until the video was posted on social media and the owner received massive backlash from the community that he spoke out and claimed it was an employee that did it and offered to pay the boy. If this is true, should the person who did it be fired, or is he just saving face at this point?

The number of every cabinet minister and the prime minister. Messages with all of them. Emails, text messages. You name it If you were a hostile state looking for an insight into what was going on in government at that time/ kompromat it's probably about as good as it gets And yet they treated him in the same way as tens of thousands of people are treated every year when their phones are stolen They gave him a crime reference number. Officers didn't speak to him. They didn't conduct an investigation. They just closed the case Now that's not to say they could have tracked down the thief - he was on an e-bike and wearing a balaclava for one.
