In Remembrance of Spencer Tracy Born | April 5, 1900 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Died | June 10, 1967 aged 67 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California American actor Spencer Bonaventure Tracy (April 5, 1900 – June 10, 1967) was known for his natural performing style and versatility. One of the major stars of Hollywood's Golden Age, Tracy was the first actor to win two consecutive Academy Awards for Best Actor, from nine nominations. During his career, he appeared in 75 films and developed a reputation among his peers as one of the screen's greatest actors. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked Tracy as the 9th greatest male star of Classic Hollywood Cinema. Tracy first discovered his talent for acting while attending Ripon College, and he later received a scholarship for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He spent seven years in the theatre, working in a succession of stock companies and intermittently on Broadway. His breakthrough came in 1930, when his lead performance in The Last Mile caught the attention of Hollywood. After a successful film debut in John Ford's Up the River (in which he starred with Humphrey Bogart), he was signed to a contract with Fox Film Corporation. Tracy's five years with Fox featured one acting tour de force after another that were usually ignored at the box office, and he remained largely unknown to movie audiences after 25 films, nearly all of them starring him as the leading man. None of them were hits, although his performance in The Power and the Glory (1933) was highly praised at the time. In 1935, Tracy joined Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Hollywood's most prestigious studio at the time. His career flourished after his fifth MGM film, Fury (1936), and in 1937 and 1938 he won consecutive Oscars for Captains Courageous and Boys Town. Tracy teamed with Clark Gable, MGM's most prominent leading man, for three major box office successes, and by the early 1940s, he was one of MGM's top stars. In 1942, he appeared with Katharine Hepburn in Woman of the Year, beginning a professional and personal partnership that led to nine films over 25 years. In 1955, Tracy won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film Bad Day at Black Rock. Tracy left MGM in 1955 and continued to work regularly as a freelance star, despite several health issues and an increasing weariness and irritability as he aged. His personal life was troubled, with a lifelong struggle against severe alcoholism and guilt over his son's deafness. Tracy and his wife Louise became estranged in the 1930s, but the couple never divorced. His 25-year relationship with Katharine Hepburn was an open secret. Towards the end of his life, Tracy worked almost exclusively for director Stanley Kramer. Tracy made his last film with Kramer, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967), with filming completed just 17 days before he died. Alejandro G. Iñárritu visited the Cannes Film Festival for the first time in 2000 for the premiere of his film, "Amores Perros" (2000). One day during the festival, Iñárritu and many other directors were invited for a 7 PM screening of Wong Kar-wai's "In the Mood for Love" (2000). Iñárritu and his wife Maria booked a taxi at 6:15 PM. But the taxis were overbooked. So Iñárritu, wearing a tuxedo & his wife, wearing a long dress with high heels had no other choice but to run to reach the theater on time, while the temperature was 95°F. The traffic was heavy. While running, Iñárritu took off his jacket, tie & the first 3 buttons of his shirt. His wife took off her shoes. Their effort wasn't in vain as they reached the theater at 7:01 PM. They were drenched in sweat. But they both had experience of their lives when they watched the movie. Here is what Iñárritu said of "In the Mood for Love" (2000): "For a filmmaker, the experience of entering that legendary [Palais Des Festivals] with 2,000 seats is similar to that of a Catholic boy going into the Vatican. [From] all the way in the back, we watched “In the Mood for Love” on a screen 40 times bigger than us. Maria and I walked in complete silence for almost 10 minutes [afterward]. We suddenly stopped by the sea. Maria hugged me and started crying inconsolably on my shoulder. And I did the same on hers. “In the Mood for Love” had left us speechless and deeply moved. It was that moment that reminded me why, even when it’s so stupidly difficult sometimes, I wanted to become a filmmaker." ("We Miss You, Cannes: 23 Filmmakers Relive Indelible Moments", Manohla Dargis and A.O. Scott, The NY Times, 2020) P.S: On this day, 26 years ago, "In the Mood for Love" (2000) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, France.

Can you believe this is a US NAVY Recruiting Office in Alhambra, CA? EVERY recruiter here is Chinese, as well as all the people coming to enlist. The working language here is also Chinese. The video was filmed by a Chinese language YouTuber, and the US NAVY recruiter who took him there to film all this is EN2 QLANG WANG. In the description box of this video on YouTube, which was uploaded on Dec 1, 2024, QLANG WANG's contact information is provided, and what concerns me is that the first option listed is his WeChat ID. The telephone number of the office comes as the second choice. As all data on WeChat is controlled by the CCP, this at least gives the CCP access to the personal data of all those who apply to join the US NAVY and who are admitted. The second question is: Why is this office staffed exclusively by Chinese individuals? The other day, I shared a video where a Chinese-American military member said that if the US goes to war with China, he would quit the US army because he doesn't want to fight against China. If all these Chinese people recruited through this office feel the same, what will happen? And a worse-case scenario is: What if some of them are recruited by the CCP as spies? Or perhaps they already are spies? One thing I am sure of, from listening to their accent, is that they all come from mainland China, everyone in this video. And the title of the original Chinese language video is: "How Desperate Are Chinese People to Join the US Military? They're Overwhelming Recruitment Offices, Each with Their Own Reasons for Enlisting" The Chinese word used is "中國人", which can be translated as Chinese people, or more precisely, people from PRC, or people of PRC. In the mind or subconsciousness of the YouTuber who shot this video, all these people still belong to the PRC.

David Andersen is in the news again today because it was revealed in Senate estimates the ABC spent $45,000 on his going away party. That’s too much for sure but it still pales into insignificance compared to the over $400,000 he will receive every year in retirement until he dies. If he lives to 86, he will be paid more than $12 million for doing nothing. Not bad coin for someone who was already paid over a million a year for 5 years at the ABC. PeopleFirst is the only party that intends to means test the non-military defined benefit scheme for retired Federal bureaucrats. Estimates from the Finance Department put the cost of this scheme at $334 billion and counting. PeopleFirst intends to use the savings to fund an income tax cut on wages and salaries below $45,000. To keep more money in your pocket and out of the pockets of bureaucrats please sign up to today. ••••••••••••••••• “At senate estimates in December, ABC's chief financial officer Melanie Kleyn sought to assuage Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson's disbeliet that a farewell party could cost over $45,000.” V “Outgoing ABC managing director David Anderson will remain one of the country's highest earners for the rest of his life despite quitting his $1.15million job – all thanks to you. According to the ABC's annual report from the 2022-23 financial year, the corporation's top executive received a total remuneration package of $1,156,969, increasing year-on-year by $120,000. Under the Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme, Mr Anderson, who first joined the public broadcaster as a bike courier in Adelaide in 1989 and enjoyed a 35-year career at the ABC, is entitled to an annual CPI-indexed pension of at least 37 per cent of his final salary. That would put the outgoing ABC boss's total taxpayer-funded annual pension at almost $430,000 – more than four-and-a-half times the nation's average income.”

🚨 The CCP’s “Unrestricted War” — Now a Movie 🚨 🔝 Maybe we’ve all heard about the CCP’s “Unrestricted War.” But have you ever watched a movie with exactly that title? 🎦 In the newly released political thriller The Unrestricted War, my followers may notice many familiar scenes and stories: the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China; Dr. Li Wenliang, who was arrested for posting a warning about the deadly virus in a private chat group; Falun Gong practitioner Fang Bin, who filmed the now-famous “eight bodies in five minutes” video (you can watch it below, under the trailer of this movie); and PLA general and virologist Chen Wei, who took control of the P4 lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology as soon as the virus began to spread—and managed to produce a vaccine as early as February 26, 2020. 😉 You might even catch glimpses of what I did during the early outbreak of COVID. (If you spot it, let me know in the comments! If you don’t, it won’t affect your enjoyment of the movie at all.) 🔥This is an incredibly engaging and daring film that exposes the CCP’s “Unrestricted War” against the entire world, based on true events from early 2020. The Wuhan pandemic killed 7 million people worldwide (or more, if we include China’s underreported death toll). Yet, until now, no filmmaker has dared to tackle this politically sensitive and perhaps politically incorrect topic. 😿That’s why Yan Ma, the Canadian director of this film, faced personal harassment from the CCP. Some of his family members in China lost their income, and just three days before filming began, one of the lead actors dropped out after receiving threats from the CCP’s United Front operations in Canada. 😠It didn’t stop there. When the film was first set to premiere in Canada, the event was abruptly cancelled just one day before, due to interference from the Chinese government. 😧The irony is striking: the Canadian filmmaker himself experienced the CCP’s “Unrestricted War” firsthand, simply for making a movie called Unrestricted War. 🚨As a result, Yan Ma decided not to release the film in U.S. theaters. Instead, it is available on the Gan Jing World GJW+ streaming platform: 🙋Make sure you watch it—and support Yan Ma, along with many others, in their fight against the CCP’s “Unrestricted War” on all of us.

🚨 THEY WERE 40 AGAINST 2,000. THE ENEMY CAME FOR A MASSACRE; THE INDIAN ARMY BROUGHT THEM TO THEIR KNEES. 🇮🇳🔥 This is the untold story of Malakal, South Sudan. The story of Major Samar Toor, the supreme sacrifice of Lt Col Mahipal Singh, and how Indian soldiers turned a death trap into a graveyard for the enemy's arrogance. THE SETTING: A DEATH TRAP -->South Sudan. The "White Army," a bloodthirsty militia of 2,000+ fighters armed with AK-47s and RPGs, surrounded the UN base at Malakal. -->Inside? 30,000 terrified civilians. -->Standing between them? -->A small detachment of the Indian Army. The world expected a slaughter. They forgot who was guarding the gate. THE HERO OF MALAKAL: MAJOR SAMAR TOOR -->Major Samar Toor (8 Rajputana Rifles). While other peacekeepers panicked, Major Toor dug in. -->The rebels attacked in human waves, high on drugs and adrenaline. They thought they could overrun the post. They were wrong. -->Major Toor led from the front, turning his post into an impregnable fortress. For 72 hours, the Indian troops unleashed hell. "MADE THEM INTO KNEES" (THE TACTICAL MASTERCLASS) -->How do you stop 2,000 men with just 40? You don't just fight; you dominate. -->Precision Sniping, Indian marksmen eliminated rebel commanders from 800m, shattering their chain of command. -->The "Iron Fist", when rebels tried to breach the perimeter, Indian BMP-2 Infantry Combat Vehicles flanked them, cutting off their retreat. THE AFTERMATH For his "conspicuous gallantry" and holding the line when the world was falling apart, Major Samar Toor was awarded the Shaurya Chakra. He proved that whether it's the borders of India or the deserts of Africa, the Indian soldier is the ultimate protector. -->The Result was that the militia didn't just retreat; they broke. The Indian Army physically and psychologically brought them to their knees. The "White Army" fled, leaving their weapons behind. THE PRICE OF GLORY: OUR MARTYRS Victory came at a heavy price. We must never forget the bravehearts who laid down their lives in the South Sudan operations during this period: 🎖️ Lt. Col. Mahipal Singh (9 Mech Infra): Led a convoy into an ambush to protect his men. He took bullets to the chest but kept firing, neutralizing attackers before succumbing. 🎖️ Subedar Dharmesh Sangwan & Subedar Kumar Pal Singh: Facing a mob of 2,000 at Akobo, they refused to hand over civilians. They fought till their last breath, choosing death over dishonor. 🎖️ Havildar Heera Lal, Havildar Bharat Sasmal, Naib Subedar Shiv Kumar Pal. While the world looked away, Indian soldiers stood as the only shield between innocent women/children and a massacre. The "Hero of Malakal" proved that whether it's the icy peaks of Kargil or the dusty plains of Africa, the Indian Army is the ultimate fighting force. Major Toor turned his combat legacy into a defense startup(Zulu Defence) that now arms the very Special Forces he once served alongside. "I stopped firing the gun so I could build a better one for my brothers." This story is so legendary that it is now inspiring a major Bollywood biopic starring John Abraham. But before the movie comes out, YOU need to know the real heroes. They fought not for conquest, but for humanity. They fought like Tigers. 🇮🇳 Hit the ❤️ to salute Lt Col Mahipal Singh & Major Toor. 🔄 RT to show the world the power of the Indian Army! For the third consecutive day, we are being bathed in powerful Higher Energy during this palindrome week (6/20/26 – 6/29/26)! ⚡️👀⚡️ The universe is acting as a precise mirror, reflecting our inner state back to us without distortion. This potent portal is actively transmuting both light and shadow, releasing them into the physical world. It signals the end of outdated traditions, the dawn of new cycles, and the dissolution of everything that no longer serves. We are in the grip of a metamorphic, unprecedented energy that is manifesting as massive collective physical shifts—this week's earthquakes are just one example. We are now fully immersed in the energy of the End Game: the collapse of empires, the changing of the guard, and a fundamental transfer of power. Another major timeline shift is unfolding at CERN. The Large Hadron Collider is shutting down at the end of this palindrome week on 6/29/26—and it won't power back up until 2030, or so they say. In 2008, they fired up the LHC. Within days, the financial system collapsed. In 2013, CERN entered its first major shutdown. Within 24 hours, a 10,000-ton meteor exploded over Russia—one of the most powerful impacts in modern history. Then again in 2018 to 2022—and a CONvid global plandemic. Worldwide lockdowns. Economic meltdown. Political unrest. A world that never went back to normal. Now, this shutdown will continue to bring destruction to the old matrix system. It is the apocalypse of the Old Guard. Should the people be conCERN? Remember the Switzerland subterranean floods from a few years ago? All the covert activities? The Swiss banking system flip? Most people don't, but it did happen. White Hats military operations were extensive in Switzerland. And we are witnessing the aftermath of those operations. CERN has been identified as a secret entrance to the CIA's underground headquarters under Lake Geneva. Reachable ONLY by submarines traveling through a 275-kilometer tunnel that apparently begins in Genoa, Italy. This is one of the hidden key architecture of the deep state. And what about that SATANIC video that leaked from CERN a few years back? You remember it—cloaked figures performing a ritual sacrifice in front of the Shiva statue. They tried to say it was a "prank" or a "hoax" after it was leaked. They admitted this "sacrifice" was staged on CERN's campus, with CERN property, and they "didn't condone it." The Gotthard Base Tunnel ceremony. The connections to Abaddon-Ascending. The "destroyer god" imagery in their logo. It's all connected. CERN's "research and operations" is just the physical cover for the real operation happening underground. Think Project Looking Glass. CERN is the countermeasure and byproduct of Looking Glass—the deep state's attempt to control timelines. They have been using the collider to open portals to communicate with negative entities from other dimensions. Interdimensional beings that they've been making deals with to maintain their power. They trusted Project Looking Glass to give them total control—but after 2012, it predicted THEY LOSE IT ALL. Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming. But of course, they weren't going to go down without a fight. CERN was their attempt to blow it all up at the quantum level. This is why the symbolism and their deity worship was so crucial at CERN. They were trying to hack reality itself. As the Higher Energy pours into Earth and the Light expands in the Aether here, their "deities" have dwindled in power—much like how viruses cannot survive in a highly oxygenated and alkaline body. The environment is no longer suitable. The physical and energetic environment on Earth is no longer suitable for the Negative Alien Agenda The End Game: CERN, Timeline Wars, and the Light That Cannot Be Stopped Source 🎖️ Drüpiter Ascending 🎖️ We WIN We The People WWG1WGA Wold Wide

I had a major fanboying moment just now!! For years, I’ve followed this hilarious TikTok account called Accidental Talmudist. The man behind the brand is a guy named Salvador Litvak aka “Sal”. I knew nothing about him other than his hilarious content, mostly good Jewish humor. Anyway, I always loved his stuff but we never connected. Until this week. Long story short, we just had a zoom meeting to discuss his new project that you absolutely need to know about, but hang on; I’m getting ahead of myself here. Why is he called The Accidental Talmudist? I always wondered about that. Listen to this!! Many years ago after growing up as a non religious Jew, Sal discovered Judaism. He had heard of the Talmud but every time he saw a Talmudic book on the shelves of a bookstore, he was intimidated and walked away without opening or buying the book. This went on for years. Then one day, he was at the book store and found himself again looking at the Talmud and again, he began to walk away. Then a voice inside of him said, “It’s just a book. Go find the first one of the series, read it, and get over your fear.” So that’s exactly what he did, he purchased the first tractate of the Talmud, the tractate of Brochos. What happened next is absolutely wild! He walked up to the counter to pay for the book, and the man behind the counter looked at the book and said to him, “Oh, you’re learning Daf Yomi?” He replied “What is daf yomi?” The man proceeded to explain to Sal that Daf Yomi is a global movement in which Jews around the world study one page of Talmud every day. The man then looked at him and said, “Today is day one of the cycle.” Clearly that was no coincidence and Sal was meant to be studying the Talmud. Well, fast forward seven years and he completes the entire Talmud. Now? He teaches Daf Yomi! Oh, you thought that was the most interesting part? Cute, not even close. Sal began his career as a lawyer but that didn’t last long. He moved to LA for film school decades ago and has since been producing and directing films with some of the biggest names in the industry. That’s right, an observant Jew directing movies in Hollywood. Still not the most interesting part. Sal and his wife Nina write the movies together and he then produces and directs them! This man who started out as a secular Jew who went to law school ended up being a deeply observant Jew producing Hollywood movies while also becoming a MASSIVE online influencer with millions of followers. So we had this zoom just now for me to hear about his new project, a movie opening tonight in over 70 cities across America. It’s called Guns & Moses. Sorry, I’m a sucker for a good pun. This movie is a thriller that combines so many different topics you’ll never find in any other movie. Some of the topics include Judaism, antisemitism, the 2nd amendment, and the list goes on. It is most definitely not your typical Hollywood movie!! He sent me a private screening so I can watch it, which I’m super excited to do. Here’s some more info on the movie and some quotes from people who have seen it. Guns & Moses is an edge-of-your-seat thriller about a Chabad rabbi who steps up to defend his community and becomes an action hero. A beloved, small-town rabbi who becomes an unlikely gunfighter after his community is violently attacked. Featuring a star-studded cast including Mark Feuerstein, Neal McDonough, Alona Tal, Christopher Lloyd and Dermot Mulroney. “Our goal was to make a Hollywood-quality film that would be a kiddush Hashem. And according to the buzz, we’ve succeeded. Twenty major publications have done pre-release stories about Guns & Moses, more are coming every day, it’s already being called the “surprise genre hit of the summer.” If all of that wasn’t interesting and inspiring enough, listen to this! As they were making this movie, Sal had a moment of doubt. He turned to Hashem and asked Him for a sign that he was on the right path and that they should keep going! At that moment, he got a call telling him that they just received a $500K tax incentive grant from the state of California, something that usually goes to big budget studio movies. So why did they get this grant? Sit down for this. They got it because a non-Jewish woman film commission in Sacramento respected that Sal is Sabbath observant. Yes. For real. True story. Sal is the first director in 100+ years of Hollywood history (dominated by Jews) to be shomer Shabbos. Unprecedented in Hollywood, the movie filmed Sun-Thurs instead of Mon-Fri, and the director had kosher food brought to him on set. Incredible stuff. Here are some quotes about the movie! “In a time when Jewish communities around the world are grappling with fear, grief, and rising hatred, Guns and Moses gives us a rare cinematic figure: an old-school hero shaped not by vengeance, but by faith and moral clarity. Rabbi Mo may wear a black fedora and long coat, but what makes him iconic isn’t the look—it’s his refusal to abandon compassion, even in the face of terror. - Film Review, Solzy at the Movies “'Guns & Moses' isn’t just a movie with a powerful message – it’s also a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat.” - Aish “In their latest film, Salvador and Nina Litvak created a brave and stereotype-defying Orthodox Jewish hero: A gunslinging Chabad rabbi… It’s a first for Hollywood… A hero unlike any other that’s been seen on screen…” - Jewish Journal "In a world that’s getting more dangerous by the minute and a media landscape too squeamish to tackle faith, violence, and identity without neutering the message, Guns & Moses doesn’t just aim—it fires... this indie thriller might be the most surprising genre breakout of the year.” - Film Threat You can check the website to learn more and purchase tickets right now. The movie is hitting theaters tonight! Go watch it and make sure they have a strong opening weekend!!

🚨 EXPOSED: Congressman Don Bacon Confirms NEPOTISM Appointment for Erika Kirk To AIR FORCE Board🤡✈️ A viral phone call is exposing the absolute clown show behind the latest appointment to the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. After Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) Rep. Don Bacon 🇺🇸✈️🏍️⭐️🎖️ tweeted about Erika Kirk’s "high standards," one constituent called to ask a simple question: "What are her qualifications?" 📞 The Call (Summary): The staffer was caught. When asked who Erika Kirk is and why she's on an elite military board, the office couldn't name a single military or aviation credential. Why? Because she has none. Constituent: "I Googled her... she has no experience with the Air Force." The Admission: The staffer finally cracks, confirming Erika is simply "replacing her husband" (the late Charlie Kirk). The Zinger: "So you don't need qualifications, you just have to be related and inherit a position?" 📸 The "Smoking Gun" Receipt Rep. Bacon didn't even try to hide the nepotism in his follow-up. He actually tweeted: "Her husband was murdered and the President out of respect nominated her to fill his now vacant position." Translation: This isn't about the Air Force. This isn't about "high standards." This is a hereditary seat being handed out like a participation trophy while our actual veterans and experts are passed over. 🚩 Why This Matters: The Air Force Board of Visitors is supposed to oversee the morale, discipline, and curriculum of our future officers. Since when is "widow of a podcaster" a relevant qualification for military oversight? Congressman Bacon is COOKED. He admitted on the record that this is a "respect" appointment rather than a merit-based one. Our military deserves better than political favors and influencer-legacy hires. Watch the full call below. The silence from the staffer says everything you need to know. 👇 From: AustraliaFirstOnly FOLLOW Them!

Respect to Andrew Stanton. He’s a Pixar OG and was at the most productive Hollywood lunch meeting ever. The meal led to 6 films and $4B+ at box office and Stanton memorialized it in the trailer for 2008’s “Wall-E”: ➡️“In the summer of 1994 there was a lunch. Me, John Lasseter, Pete Docter, the late Joe Ranft all sat down [at the Hidden City Cafe in Point Richmond, California near Pixar’s head office]. Toy Story was almost complete and we thought ‘well jeez, if we’re going to make another movie, we better get started now’. So at that lunch, we knocked around a bunch of ideas that eventually became A Bug’s Life, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo. The last one we talked about that day was the story of a robot name Wall-E.”⬅️ Released in November 1995, Toy Story was a smash hit, bringing in a worldwide box office of $245m (Hollywood's biggest haul that year, besting Apollo 13 and Batman Forever). Steve Jobs used Toy Story’s success as a launchpad for Pixar’s IPO less than a week after its release. In the following years, Pixar checked off films they ideated at the lunch: ◻️1998: A Bug’s Life ($363m, directed by John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton) ◻️2001: Monsters Inc. ($529m, Pete Docter) ◻️ 2003: Finding Nemo ($871m, Andrew Stanton) ◻️ 2006: Disney acquires Pixar for $7.4B. Jobs owned ~50% of Pixar and became Disney’s largest single shareholder, with a 7% stake. The massive pay-off was two decades in the making: in 1986, Jobs paid $5m to George Lucas for the graphics animation company that would become Pixar (and invested another $50m into the company). ◻️2008: Wall-E ($521m, Andrew Stanton) The Pixar team picked Toy Story — and then A Bug’s Life and Monsters Inc. — because it was cheaper to animate toys and animals than humans. In the decade after Wall-E, Pixar released two related films: ◻️ 2013: Monsters University ($744m, Dan Scanlon) ◻️ 2016: Finding Dory ($1B, Andrew Stanton) In total, the 6 films have grossed over $4B (or >$6B on inflation-adjusted basis).

Self-taught, child prodigy piano player, Sugar Chile Robinson. —Born on December 28, 1938, Sugar Chile Robinson as he was widely known proved to be a child prodigy emerging as a self-taught piano player at a year and half old. The jazz pianist and singer played for President Truman in 1946 at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, becoming the first African-American to be invited to the presidential home at a mere age of seven. He was one of the first African-American child stars to be a household name. While still a kid, he had a record, billboard chart, sports and a gig with the Count Basie Orchestra as well as movie appearances even when African-Americans were few on the big screen. He began touring major theaters, setting box office records in Detroit and California. In 1949 he was given special permission to join the American Federation of Musicians and record his first releases on Capitol Records, “Numbers Boogie” and “Caldonia”, both reaching the Billboard R&B chart. In 1950, he toured and appeared on television with Count Basie and in a short film ‘Sugar Chile’ Robinson, Billie Holiday, Count Basie and His Sextet. The following year, he toured the UK, appearing at the London Palladium. However, by the 1950s, Robinson returned to school and his fame faded. He stopped recording in 1952. Later he said: “I wanted to go to school… I wanted some school background in me and I asked my Dad if I could stop, and I went to school because I honestly wanted my college diploma.” Having given up his musical career entirely, he focused on his academic studies earning a degree in history from Olivet College and one in psychology from the Detroit Institute of Technology. In the 1960s, he worked for WGPR-TV, and also helped set up small record labels in Detroit and opened a recording studio. The Detroit, Michigan native’s legacy is enduring but his decision to drop music came at a great cost. The blues singer in 2016 got invited to the White House by former president Barack Obama to be part of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner after 70 years. On how tough life got, his small apartment shared with a niece had no beds and a piano. They had been sleeping on blow up beds for the past five years after a household fire destroyed his belongings. In 2017, Music Maker Relief Foundation came to the star’s aid putting him on the monthly sustenance program, sending beds and a piano to his residence while resolving the eviction action he faced. Questions abound bordering on royalties and if he made good money from his music or if he squandered the wealth he made? There’s also talk of how he failed to keep a balance rejecting music for so long yet the college degree he so craved for not securing him a better life. Whatever the outcome, Frank Isaac Robinson in 2016 was inducted into the Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame. Sugar Chile Robinson will be celebrating his 84th Birthday on December 28th 2022—

The wildest part of Pixar’s early run was that a single lunch meeting lead to 6 films and $4B at box office. Might be the greatest business lunch ever and was memorialized in the teaser film trailer for Wall-E (2008). Andrew Stanton tells the story: ➡️“In the summer of 1994 there was a lunch. Jobs famously made Pixar's HQ an open structure with an atrium area where everyone had to pass through. Why? He wanted to maximize the amount of interaction between employees from different divisions (Jobs told historian Walter Isaacson that the key to creativity was serendipity). The $4B Pixar lunch is about as "creativity is serendipity" as it gets.
