My favourite part of Steve Jobs iPhone launch in 2007 is 4 minutes he spends counterpositioning iPhone to Blackberry. Masterclass: ▫️pulls up greatest 2x2 market map ever (smart vs. not so smart, hard vs. easy to use) ▫️takes a swig of water ▫️rips into the Blackberry keyboard for being static (“there when you don’t even need it”) ▫️unveils touch gesture on iPhone (no stylus, just fingers) ▫️caps if off by saying “and boy have we patented it” (the Apple nerds lose their minds)

The Blood of Dawnwalker | Gameplay Overview Part II: ▫️ Vampire RPG made by Rebel Wolves, including ex-Witcher devs ▫️ Play in either human or vampire form ▫️ After feedback, a second camera option has been added that's slightly farther from the character ▫️ Camera can be adjusted separately for combat and exploration ▫️ After feedback, combat flow has been sped up. The directional input during combat must be done in realtime (like KCD2) and no longer pauses the game. ▫️ Magic is only available in human form, so other solutions must be found as Vampire ▫️ Compel Soul is a spell that allows you to speak with certain corpses ▫️ Vampire form can fight with claws or a sword ▫️ Sword is faster as Vampire than human ▫️ Voracious Bite ability allows you to drain enemy blood, healing you and damaging the enemy ▫️ The game gives you 30 days to rescue your family ▫️ Certain quests and dialogue options will push time forward (marked with an icon) ▫️ You can read books and inspect objects, sometimes offering new skills or XP ▫️ Plane Shift is a vampire ability that lets you walk on walls ▫️ Shadow Step allows you to teleport a short distance ▫️ Combine the two to reach rooftops and other inacessible areas ▫️ Every quest can be tackled in multiple ways ▫️ "No difference between main quests and side quests" ▫️ In the quest shown, Coen is searching for a legendary Silver Sword buried deep in a crypt ▫️Releasing 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

LEGO announced a new “Smart Brick” at CES: ▫️built a tiny computer into 2x4 bricks ▫️bricks “come alive” by lighting up or making sounds (triggered by NFC smart tags inside smart LEGO tiles and minifigs) ▫️LEGO built its own ASIC chip (fits into brick stud and smartphone app provides firmware updates) ▫️chip takes sound as input only (for privacy, it doesn’t record and no camera and no AI features) ▫️multiple Smart Bricks can make a Bluetooth mesh network (by telling position and direction of bricks, it can trigger crash sounds if brick is hit and track “winning” vehicles in a race) LEGO says it is the “the most significant evolution in the Lego System-in-Play since the introduction of the Lego Minifigure in 1978.” First Smart Bricks set come out in March and are Star Wars themes (X-Wing, Tie Fighter). *** More via The Verge:

My Prover Setup, or How to Run a Prover Using a TV Setting up and running a Succinct prover is so easy and fun that I decided to make a short 3-step guide on how to do it using a smart TV. This guide also works if you're using a smartphone. 1. Create Your Prover ▫️Go to: ▫️Stake 1000 testPROVE to your own prover. I didn’t include this part in the video because it’s pretty straightforward. 2. Log in to Genesis Cloud ▫️Open your browser and go to: ▫️In the left menu, click “Instances”, then “Create Instance”. ▫️Choose: RTX 3090 (or higher) / Ubuntu 24.04 / Authentication: Password ▫️Copy and save the automatically generated password. ▫️Click “Create Instance”. ▫️Go back to “Instances” in the left menu. ▫️On the right side of your new instance, click “Launch Console”. ▫️Log in as user "ubuntu" and paste your password. 3. Download and Run the Setup Script ▫️Run the following commands: wget -O sudo bash ▫️The server will reboot during the installation. ▫️After the reboot, reopen the console, log in again, and run: sudo bash ▫️Wait for all files and dependencies to install. ▫️When prompted, paste the address of your prover and the seed phrase of the wallet you used to create the prover and stake 1000 testPROVE. ✅ That’s it. Your prover is now up and running! crashout #ShowMeYourProver
