15 years ago today, jennifer lopez released ‘on the floor’ featuring pitbull…..a HIT

One of the best comebacks in pop music

Okay I admit this song was a bop.

This is the song that is sung or sung on all the streets or all the Christmas carol rounds in India. jennifer lopez's. "on the floor"

A rare moment where she has a good song.

15 years ago today, a forbidden accordion sample pulled JLo out of obscurity and back to global #1. "On the Floor" didn't just revive her career; it triggered a legal war over an 80s melody. 💃🔥 🤔 Fun Fact: The track is based on "Llorando se fue". The original authors from Bolivia had already won a plagiarism lawsuit against "Lambada," so Pitbull had to negotiate brutal terms to keep the song out of court. Did you know? 🤯 Incredible #SBLX #SuperBowl #SuperBowl2026 #AppleMusicHalfTime
