15 years ago today, ThunderCats premiered on Cartoon Network.

ThunderCats 2011 reboot is a phenomenal animated series that could've reached the same level of success and popularity as Avatar: The Last Airbender, if CN didn't cancel it after 26 episodes, ending on a cliffhanger. It has so much lost potential, and deserved much better.

It deserved better. It got shafted because CN was cheap. That and Stu Snyder.

This reboot of Thundercats was amazing. It deserved a real chance to shine but much like the he-man reboot Cartoon Network didn’t give it the proper chance. The character dynamics were much more interesting than the original show and if given about 3-4 seasons it might’ve been one of the greatest cartoons.

Love this IP so much. The last of my Top Big 3 80’s cartoons. C’mon people…

Back in 2011 that 2-part first episode was the most excited I've been for an animated series in years at that point! The series overall had so much potential, canceling it after THAT finale was a mistake, imho.

Still the best rendition of the show in my option

Give it back to us Cartoon Network! If Samurai Jack can get an ending, why not this?!
