Never use an impact drill on the tv! Shouldn’t really use a drill anyways unless you know how to set it correctly.

I’m not an expert either, but I mounted a few big ass tv’s for clients in the IT world. For anything too gnarly to go into the studs, or if the studs are weirdly spaced etc, mount some plywood or 2x8 or something to the studs first then mount the bitch to that.
