Body tech/mechanic here. Cars that were NEVER totaled 3 years ago. Are now all totaled and we can't repair them. This is stupid beyond stupid. He will still owe on the car he can never drive again....

This is the best case scenario for the tow if he owns the business. Insurance won't cover this so the car is most likely totaled. He buys is dirt cheap, fixes it, sells it.
