Save yourself Alberta. I don't blame you. My dad tried to move our family out there from Ontario, from the east coast(which had little to offer even then) when I was a wee baby. GDP per capita means little. The US's per capital GDP is high because the wealthy are making a lot of money, they've stopped immigration and are deporting as many people of colour as they can. The working people don't get any of that GDP money - it goes to stock buybacks, dividends, and bigger yachts. Were Alberta allowed to just bugger off with Canada's oil and leave Canada, most of the "GDP" still goes to big U.S. oil, not the average schmuck.

Forever Canada got more than twice the signatures in the same amount of time. Read the room buddy. This isn't going to work out. If you want to live somewhere other than Canada, pack your bags.
