The track was born from pain; Cudi wrote it after an argument and the death of his uncle Kalil Madi, the jazz drummer he lived with in NYC. 🤯 Curious Fact: Producer Dot da Genius and Cudi made the track in just two days with no edits made afterwards. The half-speed effect at the end was an accident when Dot pressed the spacebar instead of record on the production software. In the low-budget music video, Cudi wears a simple British "corner shop" employee uniform as a physical object to represent the "lonely stoner". Did you know? 🤯
