What started as an unfortunately all-too-common snare removal ended with a stunning show of love in the wild. In March 2025, our rangers spotted a snared zebra on the northern coast of Kenya. Our aerial veterinary initiative flew a SWT/KWS Vet Unit to the scene and found a herd being unusually protective of their own. Among them, a young foal and older daughter – we presume – were very reluctant to leave her side. These moments are what our teams are equipped for. We coaxed them to one side so the Vet Unit could promptly cut away the cable snare and tend to her injury. Once she started stirring, her family – who were a full kilometre away – took off. They started galloping towards her, and they didn't stop until they reached her side. Follow us for more moments like this.

The weirdest hackathon took place yesterday in SF, the rule was simple: Touch your computer, lose points‼️ Humans write specs, and socialize while the loop runs, and auto writes code. We were excited to help this folks host it at the Weights & Biases office in SF, I even woke up at 3am to fly down there, here's what went down: Ralphton first originated in Seoul, SK, where hackers wrote Ralph specs, went to sleep, and woke up to working projects, has been brought to SF by GB Jeong, Jake Park Sigrid Jin 🪽 and like 10 other team members, some flew to SF from Seol for this. Last Tue, Ray Fernando posted on X, asking if someone can host a hackathon sponsored by OpenAI Developers, as they run out of space in SF. I figured, why not help these folks, and out great community team jumped on the opportunity. With simultaneous hacking happening across the globe, the SF Ralphton ending when the Korean one started, they sent Ralphdad geoff to Seoul, and had Romain Huet Mo Tiwari speak, at like 5:30 PM. I had a great time, we did a nearly 4 hour livestream on Ray Fernando youtube channel, showed folks what Weights & Biases and CoreWeave is all about, and connected with incedible folks building cool things!
