They will improve our turnaround time, support the monthly environmental sanitation exercise, and help us sustain the cleaner Lagos we are building. Today, it’s over $88,000—higher than the U.S. and most of Europe including the colonial power Britain. Singapore became one of the world’s richest, cleanest, and safest countries. This is a very moving story of leadership, the kind we rarely see in Africa except in a few places. It is stories like this that give me hope, because it has been done elsewhere by leaders who inherited countries poorer than Zimbabwe and are now richer than their colonial masters. It formed the basis of reporting on the topic for years – but journalists, diplomats, and increasingly members of the public, gradually realized it was pure fiction—created as a 'black op' by Five Eyes agents from the US, Britain and Australia. . 1. Wikipedia. Although some mysterious, anonymous Wikipedia editor will not allow the word "massacre" to be removed from the title, the text itself now describes the Alan Donald fiction, debunked by all verified witnesses, including Alan Donald himself, as a "disputed cable", and admits that "In 2011, three secret cables from the United States embassy in Beijing agreed there was no bloodshed inside Tiananmen Square." . 2. Journalists Most mainstream journalists now know that incident never happened—we can tell, because they almost all ignored the annual ritual of recycling the debunked story this year. Instead, most of the reports this year came from known propaganda groups such as Radio Free Asia (CIA-founded) and China Digital Times (a NED operation). One exception I saw this year was Reuters, which this week printed a story that echoes the Alan Donald document. Shame on Reuters. . 3. The public. The public is starting to get it, too. A recent survey by popular left-leaning US commentator Matthew John of This American Left saw 85 per cent of respondents reporting that they knew the massacre didn't happen, with only 15 per cent supporting the "black op" narrative of students being killed in the square. Obviously that's a limited survey of people who follow him—but we cannot use big surveys because there are none. The big media who normally commission surveys are not going to pay for a study which proves that they have spent decades telling the world about something that never happened. Picture the headline: "A new study shows that we have been lying to you for decades about China." So, it's better for the media to take the coward's way out, and fudge the facts or just drop the story. Helen Davidson of the Guardian this year fudged the facts, by saying that hundreds or thousands of people were killed in the streets outside Tiananmen Square—whereas in fact most deaths happened five kilometers away. Sorry, Helen. . SHERLOCK HOLMES Still, as Sherlock Holmes pointed out, sometimes the fact that a dog is not barking is actually the biggest clue of all. So the omission of the massacre story is now the real story. Like the fictitious "Uyghur Genocide", Matthew John says, "the story of the blood-drenched Beijing square has been quietly abandoned by the Western press and its bourgeois backers". This morning, The Princess of Wales was in London to attend The Future Workforce Summit bringing together the UK’s most influential business leaders to drive further action and investment in the early years🥰 She was greeted by Sir Gareth Southgate among the other leaders present and she delivered an address to her audience of Business leaders and the remark centered around "Love".
