Square had the opportunity to do a "lost RPGs" compilation for their Super Famicom games that didn't make it to the West.

Wow, I didn't know of this one! I'll try and play it someday, it looks really good! Hopefully I can get it to work on my SNES Classic.

Still a fantastic game. The sprites, the music, the combat and story with multiple characters. The fact i could make my own spells using keywords kept me excited as a kid.

Square continues to hide its non-FF gems in obscurity. Also, Sion's and Riza's boss themes hit hard. Surlent's is a close second. (I play it whenever my MC has to fight a man of testing in my stories.)

The idea was nice but it was rather linear and not much sidequests.

My Sion ended being weaker than that last hero who joins after you beat all scenarios.

I have never seen this one. Very cool

It's a great game. Folks probably have their preference on how to approach the scenarios, but I rolled with sticking with one character all the way through before swapping to the next. I think constant character-hopping could get a bit confusing after a while.
