19 years ago today, Halo 3 was released.

Please @Activision @ATVIAssist for the love of the game let there be lobby chat, and proximity chat during game play. For the Love of the game!

Man it’s like losing a 25 year war, games back than had soul , and where just made for fun

One of the greatest Christmas gifts of all time!

My first midnight release… AT A BLOCKBUSTER

Omg I’m old

Ill forever be greatful to be born at a time to experience this. Halo releases and and my friend group consisted of 3 people. Friend A had and XBox 360, friend B had a Wii and I had a PS3. Whenever a major game launched we would ever over to whoever house and game all day.

my fav halo game of all time, best original multiplayer fps/ custom games of all time...just..🥺

ahhh the memories

Good Lord I miss those days

I had the halo 3 edition of the Xbox 360. I loved that thing.

it was magnificently beautiful.

Good times

I was depressed already tonight... Now it's even worse.

Now we play life on legendary

You know back then.. I thought it would last forever. "Imagine the games we're going to be getting in the next 10 years!" 😔

We'll never get that back will we?

@GreatEvol

Good times

I remember dedicating weekends to watching MLG live for this game

Oh the memories…

This meant something!

I play planet side 2. Something about there being low player count and recognizable players (small community) is very nice. If you want the original halo experience. I'd say give this game a try (planet side 2)

There was never a golden age when it comes to Xbox.

Countless hours of my life on this game and no regrets. This game was a fucking masterpiece.

I was never a Halo Guy, but Halo 3 release was crazy.

I can never forget the classic 🎶“OOOOOOHHHHAAAAAHHHHHHMMMMMMOOOOOOAAHAHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMOOOOOOHHHHH!”🎶

It's interesting how Halo was never as racist as Call of Duty was.

To this day, I never had an experience more hectic than playing that infection custom Foundry map at a friend 's house back at 2007, Halo 3 will forever remain my favourite Halo and one of my top games forever. What I would gove to experience what Halo 3 at its peak was.

Benoit 😓😣

The memories...

And then odst came out with all of the dlc maps included!

The good ol times man wow
