19 years ago today, ‘Naruto: Shippuden’ premiered.

One of the greatest anime out there

The panning shot of all the Akatsuki when we barely knew anything about them was pure menacing aura, iconic as hell.

I remember this day. I really thought they were finally going to give Rock Lee a proper storyline, but he basically stayed on the sidelines. The Kimimaro fight was great, sure, but after that… nothing. One of the best underdog/comeback stories in anime just got left behind

Naruto Shippuden - First Trailer (2007)

Bro, call the entire sand village. We're going to save Gaara.

This op used to hit so hard after school😭😭

one of the best openings ever made

My reaction to this information.

Naruto was the better show and I will NOT have my opinion changed

I love Naruto so much! Shippuden was legendary!!! I remember feeling so cool when I was a younger because none of my friends were able to see it yet and I would just watch it in parts on YouTube. They weren’t hip to stuff like that yet where I was from.

The best Naruto Opening

Shippuden was ass after peak pain arc. The 1 tv season there's love lies.

Early Shippuden was so fucking peak.

yeah this is what we call greatness

This op is pure nostalgia

It’s perfect, all 500 episodes 🥹

This intro was different too, Naruto really set the tone

I used to watch this movie while I was with my Mom when I was either middle or elementary school, good times.

the aura of this show during the first arc of shippuden was insane
