@marshallamps The first one.

@marshallamps Both fantastic, but JTM-45 for me, something harmonically in the high end, delicious.

@marshallamps Both sound good. The small box 50 has less low-mid and is more focused. However, my phone speakers sound like doo doo. Either you come to my house or I'll come to yours. Let me know which option works better.

@marshallamps So am I right in saying this is just a Gibson straight into these amps with no extra effects and he gets these tones? If that’s the case I’m stunned

@marshallamps I’m partial to the first one. It sounds like early Billy Gibbons. They both sound phenomenal though.

@marshallamps JTM45 would be my pick, and thanks for posting the interesting comparison!

@marshallamps The 2nd sounds more of a fuller sound to me, if that makes sense

@marshallamps To be completely honest, one of them gives me Leslie West vibes and the other one gives me more Angus Young vibes. 🔥🎸

@marshallamps The second (68) sounds a little more airy, if that makes since. The (JTM-45) sounds a fraction more warmer. Those are my opinions based on settings dialed the exact same & the mic wasn't moved forcing a dynamics change from having two heads stacked. Hard to tell on phone.🤷♂️

@marshallamps I don't know if the pics left and right corresponded to the '68 or '66, I'm not that well versed in old Marshall's. Only own a 2006-7 (?) JCM 2000. But this one seemed to have a little extra huevos to my ears.
