🇧🇷 ⚽ 🇮🇹 (1970)

@robertmdaws Not used to seeing it from that angle, but it’s still one of the best goals I’ve ever seen. Pele’s pass truly is a thing of beauty

One of the all time great goals of World Cup football.

@robertmdaws You coach kids to make sure their weight of pass is right - If Pele weight of pass isn’t right then the goal isn’t scored and generations of fans don’t get to enjoy the iconic moment . Beautiful goal .

And the delightful tones of Sir Barry Davies. Lovely..

I'm sure I read somewhere that Italy were a pretty tired team when they reached the final. Doesn't alter the utterly staggering brilliance of Brazil...but they had further gears they could have gone into if needed.

Clodoaldo

First time I've seen this goal with Barry Davies commentary - him spotting the run of Carlos Alberto before we see him is brilliant

Sheer delightful football.

My favourite goal 🙏❤️

@KeebleGarry @GBKeebs Brazil, brilliant to watch at the 1970 World Cup.
